What causes hemorrhoids? The best and simple way to prevent hemorrhoids

The soft venous mass formed by the expansion and bending of the venous plexus under the mucosa of the end of the rectum and the skin of the anal canal is called hemorrhoids. Some people always think that they do not have hemorrhoids. In fact, the first stage hemorrhoids are not felt (mostly internal hemorrhoids), and the second stage hemorrhoids are not felt. When it comes to the third stage, patients always think that it does not affect eating and drinking, and does not interfere with work. In addition, they are unwilling to go to the hospital for treatment because of face problems (especially female comrades). Due to its special location, it has become a secret for many people. Unless you have to go to the hospital for treatment, you are already a patient with serious hemorrhoids that affects your normal life.

What causes hemorrhoids?

There are many reasons for hemorrhoids, but clinically proven, the most prominent one is long bowel movements. Squatting for more than 3 minutes can lead to the formation of hemorrhoids, and the severity is also determined by the length of time. Therefore, most people who squat for a long time have dry stools, and should adjust their diet or take medication as soon as possible to develop the habit of regular bowel movements.

Squatting for too long can directly lead to varicose veins in the rectum, and blood stasis will form venous masses (medically known as hemorrhoids). Some people like to read newspapers while squatting on the toilet, which is not only unhygienic, but also if they see something exciting, they will not get up after emptying their bowels. In the long run, the rectal veins will be squeezed for a long time, inducing hemorrhoids.

People who sit or stand for a long time are also prone to hemorrhoids. I believe many people know that sitting for a long time can cause hemorrhoids, but many people may not know that standing for a long time can also cause hemorrhoids. Because when a person is standing or sitting, the anus and rectum are located in the lower part. Due to the pressure of gravity and other organs, blood return is affected, and the veins are prone to expansion and bending. Therefore, people who often stand or sit are prone to hemorrhoids.

Anal infection is also one of the main causes of hemorrhoids. To put it in medical terms, the hemorrhoidal venous plexus first becomes inflamed due to acute or chronic infections, and the elastic tissue of the venous wall gradually becomes fibrotic and weakened, resulting in insufficient resistance, which leads to enlargement and varicose veins. Combined with other reasons, the varicose veins gradually worsen and cause hemorrhoidal prolapse.

Many people like to drink alcohol and eat spicy food, but they don't know that these are the culprits that lead to hemorrhoids. Because these foods are highly irritating, eating too much can easily irritate the anus and rectum, causing congestion in the hemorrhoidal venous plexus, affecting venous blood return, resulting in a decrease in the resistance of the venous wall, thus causing the formation of hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids can also be inherited. Of course, there is currently no evidence to show that hemorrhoids have a genetic effect, but many hemorrhoid patients have a family history. The cause of hemorrhoids is likely related to the family's eating habits, bowel habits and living environment.

In addition to the above reasons, there are of course some other reasons, such as old age, long-term illness, or loose and weak anal sphincter, excessive fatigue, etc., which can induce the formation of hemorrhoids.

The best and simple way to prevent hemorrhoids :

1. If each bowel movement takes more than 3 minutes, it should be gradually controlled within 3 minutes (if controlled within 1 minute, first and second stage hemorrhoids can heal on their own).

2. Drivers, pregnant women and office workers should do 10 anal lifting exercises in the morning and afternoon every day.

3. For those who habitually have dry stools, eat 3 to 5 taels of raw cabbage heart after dinner every day (one hour later).

4. If you cannot take a bath immediately after defecation, you can clamp a soft multi-layer (2×4 cm) toilet paper at the anus before getting up from the toilet (take it out after half an hour). In this way, when walking and exercising, the rectal veins can be quickly activated and restored to normal reflux.

The above four methods, if combined together for prevention, are the best shortcut to stay away from hemorrhoids.
