How to soak corn kernels in water to make a water-melting bag for fishing carp and how to sink the nest

Corn is a good choice. It has enough nutrition, and its hard grains are resistant to water blisters and bites by small fish. In many cases, corn is the best bait for wild fishing. I have caught 12 big carps in one day, all of which were corn. My experience is that corn should be sour, sweet and fragrant. The effect of soaking corn from these three perspectives is usually good.

How to soak corn kernels for carp fishing

This is a nesting material suitable for big fish in summer and autumn. Put five pounds of old corn in a pot, add water and cook until it blooms. Then pick it up and drain the water, spread it in a dustpan to cool, and then sprinkle 10 grams of wine koji on the corn evenly. Put it in a large plastic bottle and add 50 grams of koji-flavored white wine. Cover the lid and seal it. In summer, it is usually used after one day and one night. It has a strong yeast aroma. If you don't have wine koji, you can use a spoonful of honey and a pound of white wine to soak the cooked corn. Soaking for two or three days in summer is enough.

How to sink the water-melting bag nest

There are many types of nesting materials, and some nesting materials such as wine rice, fermented wheat, and lightly soluble red worm particles cannot be cast by hand. They are often scattered in a large area, making it difficult for fish to gather in one place, and they cannot be reached by using a nesting spoon at a long distance. Then using a water-soluble bag is a good choice. As mentioned above, the water-soluble bag is light in weight. When the wine rice nesting materials are put into it, it often floats on the water surface but does not sink. Then some small gravel or dry soil is often added to the water-soluble bag to increase the weight so that it does not float on the water again. Two common methods: one is to throw the water-soluble bag directly to the nest when the weather is good and the wind speed is not high; the other is to hang the fish hook at the mouth of the water-soluble bag and lift the rod to bring it to the fishing spot.

In actual application, the melting time of water-soluble bags of different brands and qualities varies greatly, mostly in the range of 5 seconds to 1 minute. The melting time of water-soluble bags is significantly affected by water temperature. When the water temperature is above 25℃ in summer, general water-soluble bags melt within 10 seconds. Therefore, when the fishing spot is in the deep water area in summer, especially in windy weather, the water-soluble bags are carried by fish hooks. At this time, either increase the weight per unit volume to make the bait sink to the bottom quickly; or add several layers of water-soluble bags to extend its melting time, so as to avoid being blown away by the strong wind after melting just after contacting the water surface, which loses the meaning of using water-soluble bags; it should be noted that when using nesting materials such as rice wine, it is in a wet state. When the rice wine is put into the water-soluble bag, the water-soluble bag may dissolve, so the action should be quick, throw the nest as soon as possible or add another layer of water-soluble bag.

Feeding characteristics of fish pond fish

The density of fish in fish ponds is relatively large. Although the fish are not large and the food source is not single, the water temperature is low in winter, and phytoplankton and animals have died out. Therefore, the food source in winter is nothing but cow dung provided by the pond owner. Fish have habits. If they eat a certain kind of food for a long time, they will become dependent on this taste. In serious cases, fish will eat other food sporadically or even not at all. Fishy smell, high protein fishy bait and meat bait are easy to attract fish interest, but considering that fish have been eating cow dung for a long time, when making flour bait, add cow dung appropriately to make the bait contain cow dung smell to avoid fish rejection of new smell. When the bait is formed, it can also stimulate fish to eat.
