Will Caesarean Section Kill the Third Child?

Will Caesarean Section Kill the Third Child?

Nowadays, cesarean section is becoming more and more common. Many people choose cesarean section when they give birth to their second or third child. Caesarean section is a very simple type of surgery with China's current medical technology. So, will the third child die by cesarean section? Caesarean sections should be performed no more than three times. There is no accurate data on how many caesarean sections a woman may have in her lifetime. There was a pregnant woman overseas who had seven caesarean sections in a row and was still healthy and happy.

However, the frequency of cesarean section should not exceed 3 times. Generally, after the second or third cesarean section, pregnant women will be advised to start sterilization. Because if you have performed three or more caesarean sections, the scar on the uterus may cause spontaneous uterine rupture in the late pregnancy, and the risk before delivery will be very high.

1. Avoid squeezing and shaping of the abdomen in the late stages of pregnancy. In order to prevent cracking at the scar, care must be taken to protect it from being squeezed. In the late stage of pregnancy, in daily life, you should avoid crowds when taking a car or walking, do housework moderately, sleep supinely or on your side, and have controlled sexual intercourse to prevent the abdomen from being hit.

2. Seek medical attention as soon as possible if abdominal pain occurs. Some scarred uteri may spontaneously rupture in the late stages of pregnancy, with abdominal pain being the specific symptom. Because the uterine scar heals poorly, with the advancement of pregnancy months, the pressure in the uterine cavity increases. Even if there is no cause of disease, the uterus may swell and rupture from the scar. When the uterus ruptures, abdominal pain may vary in severity. Sometimes the abdominal pain is mild but the uterus has already ruptured, so you must remain vigilant.

3. It is advisable to be hospitalized for delivery early. The closer the scarred uterus is to delivery, the greater the risk of rupture. To avoid uterine rupture or fetal death, the baby should be hospitalized for delivery two weeks in advance so that problems can be detected and handled properly.

Is there any risk in having a third baby by caesarean section?

For a caesarean section for the third baby, severe adhesions may damage the bladder, and poor uterine contractions may cause internal bleeding. There is a risk of uterine rupture in the late pregnancy. It is recommended to closely observe the thickness of the uterine incision scar, and perform a caesarean section immediately if any abnormality is found. With the increase in the frequency of cesarean sections, the risk of uterine rupture and bleeding during pregnancy increases. Before pregnancy, a color Doppler ultrasound examination is needed to determine the state of uterine accompaniment and the thickness of the uterine wall. Regular follow-up visits are required during pregnancy. Sexual intercourse is strictly prohibited during this period. Pay attention to rest and avoid infection.

Caesarean section for the third pregnancy may pose risks to the fetus: For women, if you chose caesarean section for your first pregnancy, then in order to avoid risks, it is best to choose to conceive again three years after the first pregnancy, because at this time the uterus has undergone a long period of repair before it can continue to bear the responsibility of rebirth. The doctor will also recommend caesarean section for the second time if you chose a caesarean section for the first time. This can avoid the occurrence of dangerous conditions such as internal bleeding or uterine rupture due to uterine contractions during delivery. If you have already undergone two caesarean sections and want to have a third child, the risk will be very high, because at this time the fetus may adhere to the scar of the uterus, which will cause harm to the fetus or even cause the death of the fetus.
