Don't use your eyes too much

Mothers should rest more and use their eyes less during the confinement period. Don't look at things for a long time. Playing with mobile phones, watching TV series, etc. will damage your eyes. You need to take a break and look around every 20 minutes or so to reduce eye fatigue.

Maintain suitable indoor humidity

The confinement room should be kept ventilated. When using air conditioning in cold weather, pay attention to increasing the indoor air humidity to prevent dry eyes. Mothers should maintain a regular schedule and avoid staying up late to prevent eyestrain.

Apply heat to the eye area daily

Applying heat around the eyes every day can promote blood circulation around the eyes. If both eyes are not suitable, do not abuse eye drops. Use eye drops reasonably under the guidance of a doctor to reduce the discomfort caused by dry eyes.

Cry less

During the confinement period, mothers lose too much blood during childbirth, and the blood that can be distributed to the internal organs of the body will be less than usual. If you cry frequently at this time, it will easily damage your eyes, causing dry eyes, swelling or pain, and even cause eye diseases. Therefore, you must learn to adjust your mentality and try to keep yourself in a good mood.

Rich in nutrients

Mothers should appropriately supplement fish oil or eat more foods containing vitamin A, such as carrots, lean meat, vegetables and fruits, to prevent dryness and atrophy of the cornea. Eat less foods that are bad for the eyes, such as onions, garlic, pepper, and chili peppers.
