How to prepare for pregnancy with cervicitis

Many cases of cervicitis occur in women. This disease has become a common disease among women, especially those who are preparing for pregnancy. If they suffer from this disease, many women are worried that it will affect their pregnancy and the fetus. So, can chronic cervicitis be treated during pregnancy?

After suffering from chronic cervicitis, women will have symptoms such as excessive vaginal discharge and excessive viscosity. In severe cases, the secretions may contain some blood. This type of inflammation can cause damage to the woman's body. When women experience this type of condition, it is recommended that they do not get pregnant and receive treatment as soon as possible. They can only get pregnant after the symptoms have been alleviated to a certain extent.

Because cervicitis secretes some white blood cell components in the vagina, although these components will not have a great impact on women's body, they will affect the quality and survival rate of sperm during pregnancy, and will also reduce the ability of sperm to pass through the uterus. Therefore, women with chronic cervicitis cannot get pregnant.

If a woman who is preparing for pregnancy suffers from cervicitis, she should pay attention to relieving her stress, not have too heavy a psychological burden, and ensure a certain amount of exercise to prevent her condition from becoming more serious. Also be careful not to eat too much irritating food, to avoid these foods will make cervicitis more serious and affect women's pregnancy.

What else should women with cervicitis pay attention to?

The doctor said: If you suffer from cervicitis, you must seek medical treatment in time to prevent further infection of the inflammation. In addition to going to the hospital in time, you should also pay attention to the following practical matters:

1. When treating cervicitis, it is best to temporarily refrain from sexual intercourse for 1-2 months. This is because after the treatment of cervicitis, a layer of inflammatory scab on the surface will fall off, and new tissue will slowly grow out. During the tissue repair process, if sexual intercourse is carried out, the new wound on the cervix will be damaged or even bleed, affecting the effect.

2. It is best to wear cotton underwear and change it frequently to keep the vulva clean.

3. Two or three days after the treatment of cervicitis, more stubborn or yellow watery secretions will be discharged from the vagina. Therefore, cotton sanitary pads can be used during the day, and new pads should be replaced frequently. You can also wash the vulva with cold water once in the morning, noon and evening.
