Low-grade cervical lesions

Low-grade cervical lesions

If a woman undergoes a puncture biopsy under colposcopy and the examination diagnoses her with mild cervical disease, it is generally not considered serious. Because mild cervical lesions of around 60‰ can naturally recover and turn negative, but because this is accompanied by infection with high-risk HPV virus, after examination and diagnosis, vaginal medication treatment is required to turn the HPV virus negative.

Because after the HPV virus turns negative, the probability of recovery from mild cervical disease will be higher. If the HPV virus continues to not turn negative, it may cause the mild cervical lesions to further aggravate, leading to intermediate cervical lesions, and even high-grade cervical lesions, which require cervical conization surgery.

Mild cervical lesions mean that the cervical epithelial cells have undergone lesions under the infection of HPV. The lesions are very mild compared to high-grade lesions or even cervical cancer. It is recommended to do cervical physical therapy in clinical medicine, such as not having sex for 3-7 days after the menstrual period and doing routine leucorrhea examinations. If everything is normal, and the blood routine test and coagulation time are normal, cervical physical therapy can be performed, such as laser surgery, microwave therapy, liquid nitrogen cryotherapy, etc. The main purpose is to cause the diseased epithelial cells to die and fall off, and then grow new epithelial cells, thus achieving the purpose of treatment in clinical medicine. After treatment, it is recommended to do cervical cancer screening every six months. If the result is negative, cervical cancer screening should be done once a year thereafter.

Cervical cancer is not cancer in its precancerous lesions, but a benign disease that can be detected early through gynecological examinations. In normal times, if there are abnormal leucorrhea, increased female secretions, strong odor of secretions, or blood in the secretions, you need to be alert, as they may be the early manifestations of cervical cancer, especially bleeding during sexual intercourse and vaginal bleeding. At this time, you should go to a regular hospital for examination immediately and do not ignore it.

Therefore, regular maintenance is very necessary, so as to ensure early detection and early treatment. Cervical cancer can be effectively prevented through corresponding treatment in the precancerous lesion stage. Treatment of cervical cancer is related to the cancer stage classification. The cure rate for the first stage is over 90%, and for the second stage it is 70%-80%. The later the cure, the lower the cure rate. The treatment effect of precancerous lesions and early cancers is relatively ideal.

Generally speaking, the progression of cervical cancer is closely related to one's mentality and physical condition. Therefore, if cervical cancer is found, in addition to cooperating closely with the hospital's treatment, the patient must maintain a positive attitude and not take it negatively. At the same time, improvements must be made in diet, work and rest schedule, etc. to improve the physical condition.
