26 weeks pregnant lower abdominal pain

Pregnant women who have reached the 26th week of pregnancy have safely passed the early and mid-term pregnancy and are beginning to move towards the late stage of pregnancy. This is also the time when the fetus grows rapidly in the mother's body. Most pregnant mothers feel good and will choose to prepare things for delivery for the baby and themselves at this time. But sometimes I feel some pain in my abdomen after walking too much. What I want to explain to you today is the cause of lower abdominal pain during the 26th week of pregnancy.

As pregnant women enter the late stages of pregnancy, the pressure on the abdomen gradually increases, especially in the lower abdomen, so occasional lower abdominal pain is related to the lack of stretch support. Especially the abdominal muscles and abdominal subcutaneous fiber layer, which are also the cause of stretch marks. Pay attention to lying down and resting more, reduce long-term standing or sitting, and have bowel movements frequently to avoid constipation. If there is no abdominal pain accompanied by vaginal bleeding or discharge, there is no need to see a doctor for examination. Regular normal prenatal check-ups are sufficient.

There are also some physiological abdominal pain that cannot be ignored, such as abdominal pain in the following conditions: placental abruption: it mostly occurs in the late pregnancy, and pregnant women may have pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome, chronic hypertension, or abdominal trauma. Tearing pain in the lower abdomen is a typical symptom, often accompanied by vaginal bleeding. The degree of abdominal pain is affected by comprehensive factors such as the size of the abruption area, the amount of blood, the level of internal uterine pressure, and whether the uterine muscle layer is damaged. In severe cases, there may be unbearable abdominal pain, hard abdomen, decreased fetal movement, and even shock. Therefore, in the later stages of pregnancy, pregnant women who suffer from high blood pressure or abdominal trauma should immediately go to the hospital for medical treatment to prevent accidents. If a pregnant mother suddenly feels persistent severe pain in the lower abdomen, it may be a sign of premature birth or uterine rupture. You should go to the hospital outpatient department for medical treatment immediately and do not delay.

If the abdominal pain is simply caused by excessive exercise, the pain will subside after rest, so pregnant mothers don't need to worry. The most worrying thing is the persistent abdominal pain, as well as other symptoms such as spotting during pregnancy. At this time, you must go to the hospital as soon as possible. Sisters who are pregnant should first take care of themselves, and people around pregnant women should also give them more attention and care. Safety is everyone's wish.
