Cervical hypertrophy and normal cervix

Cervical hypertrophy and normal cervix

After the onset of cervical hypertrophy, many women will experience symptoms in their daily lives. If everyone notices the situation, they need to receive treatment in time. So, what are the symptoms of cervical hypertrophy?

1. Symptoms of leucorrhea: The specific manifestations are acute symptoms of excessive leucorrhea. Women's secretions are purulent, accompanied by pain in the lower abdomen and lumbar sacral region, frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, painful urination and other bladder irritation signs. Chronic neck inflammation is milky white mucoid or pale yellowish pus. In addition, there is also thick secretion, which is not conducive to the passage of male sperm and is one of the causes of infertility.

2. Menstrual symptoms: menorrhagia, prolonged duration, etc. In addition to the clinical symptoms of cervical hypertrophy in big cities, menstrual symptoms also manifest during the menstrual period, but the amount is not large. The menstrual cycle is reduced to about 20 days, and the number of days does not change significantly.

3. More serious cervical erosion or cervical polyps may cause vaginal bleeding or sexual intercourse after bleeding. In mild cases, there may be no systemic symptoms. When the inflammation spreads along the uterosacral cruciate ligament to the pelvis, there may also be lumbar pain, lower abdominal distension, dysmenorrhea, etc., and every time you defecate, your sexual life will be improved.

What are the causes of cervical hypertrophy?

1. Incomplete uterine repair: Some women with multiple births or who have experienced multiple miscarriages may suffer serious damage to the cervix. The myometrium loses its elastic tissue, causing smooth muscle and blood vessel hyperplasia, resulting in cervical hypertrophy;

2. Causes of inflammation: If some inflammations are not treated in time, the symptoms will worsen and even myometrial fibroblasts will proliferate, and the uterine fibrosis process will become increasingly hypertrophic;

3. Uterine myometrial vascular sclerosis: If there is uterine vascular disease, the uterine myometrium will harden, causing cervical hypertrophy;

4. Pelvic bleeding: Pelvic bleeding can cause hyperplasia of uterine connective tissue and cause varying degrees of cervical hypertrophy.
