1. Why is there a change in the biopsy when TCT is normal?

TCT is a scientific method for detecting cervical tumor cells. It mainly involves acid-fast staining of cells and then swiping the cells for examination. However, cervical puncture biopsy directly removes the diseased tissue at the site of the disease, and then performs a series of slice treatments. It is more accurate than TCT and the results are clearer. If TCT is normal but the biopsy shows disease, there should be inflammation in the body, which should be detected and treated in time.

2. TCT Inspection Process

1. Use TCT professional cervical brush to collect cervical cell samples. It is necessary to go deep into the cervix and collect cervical cells that fall off the transition zone.

2. Place the cervical brush that has been brushed off with fallen cells into a bottle containing cell storage fluid for rinsing, so that the cells migrate into the storage fluid bottle.

3. Write the patient’s name and affix a barcode on the bottle.

4. Place the storage liquid bottle into the automatic cell preparation machine to stir, filter, transfer the sample cells, and finally stick them on the slide.

5. Fix the slide after staining, and finally observe and confirm under a microscope.

3. Advantages of TCT Inspection

In fact, the TCT test is only the first step in the examination of cervical diseases. Generally speaking, the diagnosis of cervical diseases is divided into three steps: TCT, colposcopy and pathophysiological diagnosis. Although only pathophysiological diagnosis is truly credible in determining whether a cell tissue is diseased, the first pass of TCT still shows significant advantages. If TCT shows a problem, the woman should undergo further colposcopy or pathological diagnosis to accurately diagnose the condition; but if the TCT test data shows that it is good, these tests may no longer be necessary.
