Which department should I go to for breast problems?

Breast is one of the secondary sexual characteristics of us women and is a very important organ of the human body. Caring about the health of breasts is a hot topic for us women. With the pace of life becoming faster and faster, women's work also shoulders half the sky and is very busy. Sometimes they ignore the issue of breast health care. So, if we go to check our breasts, which department should we go to?

If you want to go to the hospital to check your breasts, you should go to the hospital's professional breast surgery department. A comprehensive examination of the breasts can effectively check or diagnose and prevent various breast diseases. We must pay attention to checking the physical condition of the breasts, but breast examinations must be symptomatic. It is necessary to follow the breast examination process and carry out the examination step by step.

1. Check the shape, shape, size and position of the breasts to see if they are consistent and symmetrical.

2. Check the condition of the surface skin of the breast, the color of the surface skin of the breast, whether there is rash, edema, whether the veins are enlarged, and whether there are changes in the skin folds.

3. Check the condition of the nipples of the breasts, whether the shape of the nipples is normal, whether they are deformed, sunken, retracted, the color of the nipples, and whether there is eczema.

4. Check the condition of breast lymph nodes, whether there is any migration of lymph nodes, and whether the size and range of movement of breast lymph nodes are normal.

5. Check the breast discharge to see if there is any fluid overflow. If there is any overflow, is it spontaneous overflow or overflow after being squeezed? Is it unilateral overflow or multilateral overflow? What are the characteristics of the overflow fluid?

In fact, before we go to the hospital for a breast examination, we can first check it ourselves at home, so that we can understand the approximate situation in advance, and then go to the hospital for a more accurate examination. The method is also very simple and convenient. The following will introduce the steps of self-breast examination.

1. First, face the mirror, put your hands out naturally, and carefully look at both sides of the breasts. Are the sizes of the breasts the same, are they symmetrical up and down, are there any abnormal protrusions, are there any swelling, white flakes, or wrinkles? Pay close attention to whether there is secretion, depression, or deformation or rot of the nipple.

2. Then clench your hands, put them behind your head, and press your hands forward slightly. At this time, pay attention to the external shape of the breasts in the mirror, the outline of the breasts, and whether there are any abnormalities mentioned above. Then put your hands on your waist, tilt your body slightly forward, press your shoulders and hands forward, and continue to pay attention to whether the breasts in the mirror are normal.

3. Stretch out your arms, close the fingers of your left hand together, pay close attention to the left breast, gently press the breast with your fingers, feel whether there is any lump, massage the nipple in a clockwise direction to check, pay special attention to whether there is any fat lump under the armpit, you can also gently squeeze the nipple to see if there is any secretion.

4. Now lie down flat and put a small pillow behind your left shoulder. As the shoulder is raised, the center of the breast will shift to a certain extent, and the breast will become flat, which is conducive to examination. Close the fingers of your left hand together, treat the breast as a circle, and slowly massage from the outside to the inside in circles. Then squeeze the nipple to see if there is any secretion overflowing.
