White goose bumps on genitals

White goose bumps on genitals

As a woman, it is inevitable to have one or another vaginal problem, such as vaginitis, which can easily cause a series of problems. If the private parts suffer from some diseases, white goose bumps-like things will appear. So what exactly causes this?

1. Sebaceous gland ectopic disease

White goose bumps on female genitals may be caused by sebaceous gland dysplasia, which can occur on the glans penis of men, as well as the labia majora and minora and vulva of women. They are about the size of millet grains, light yellow or light white in color, and a few patients have mild itching. Most patients have no obvious symptoms, just like a few rashes. Sebaceous gland ectopy generally has no impact on physical and mental health, does not require treatment, and will disappear naturally in some people after adulthood.

2. Leukoplakia of the vulva

The clinical symptoms of vulvar leukoplakia are vulvar itching, the degree of itching varies at all times of the year and day and night. If accompanied by candidal vaginitis or candidal vaginitis, the secretion will be large, with a burning sensation in some areas, and even varying degrees of skin and mucous membrane hypopigmentation in some areas, often accompanied by edema, cracks and scattered ulcers, which can be like milky white goose bumps. Warm reminder: There are many treatments for vulvar leukoplakia on the Internet, and some hospitals also have special treatments for this type of disease. It is recommended that patients go to a reliable public tertiary hospital for treatment. Do not believe in the treatment methods of some clinics or some private hospitals, otherwise it may aggravate the condition and delay treatment.

3. Genital herpes

A milky white rash on the private parts may be caused by genital herpes, which often occurs in the private parts, vagina and cervix. This type of herpes starts with a burning sensation, followed by the appearance of multiple clusters of red maculopapules, and quickly forms hot blisters. The early hot blisters are clear, like milky white rashes, and then gradually become blurred and ulcerated, forming erosions or shallow ulcers, and even accompanied by significant pain. Note: In addition to active treatment, women with genital herpes should also avoid sexual intercourse, avoid scratching, and refrain from smoking and drinking to prevent attacks.

4. Genital warts

Genital warts are a reproductive tract infection caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, with the specific manifestation of proliferative damage to the anus and sexual organs. In the early stages of this disease, there are small dark red or milky white rashes, just like goose bumps, which appear singly or in groups, are moist and soft, with an uneven surface, and are nipple-like, cockscomb-shaped, or cauliflower-like protrusions. When the disease develops to a certain extent, purulent secretions and gas accumulation often appear between the lesions, causing a foul odor, and secondary infection may occur due to scratching. Some patients may experience discomfort, pain, itching or pain during sexual intercourse.

Note: Although genital warts are not AIDS, they are also a serious sexually transmitted disease, so patients must be careful not to engage in sexual intercourse to avoid cross infection and outbreaks.

5. Keratosis pilaris

Keratosis pilaris mostly occurs in children aged 8-16 years old, and gradually worsens with age. Its main characteristics are: needle-point to lentil-sized hair follicular hard papules, covered with greasy crusts or bran-like desquamation on the top. If the scab is peeled off, a small tubular pit can be seen in the center of the papule. Initially the papules are skin-colored, like milky white goose bumps, and then gradually expand and combine into irregular, wart-like soft spots that are brown, dirty black, or dark brown in color. It often occurs symmetrically on the face, chest, abdomen, limbs, and sacrum. Note: When treating keratosis pilaris, be sure to avoid squeezing to prevent inflammation of the skin pores.
