What damage does pregnancy-induced hypertension indicate to the mother's internal organs?

3. Heart: When the coronary blood supply to the heart is insufficient, it may cause myocardial ischemia, edema, spotty bleeding and necrosis. Because of peripheral aortic spasm, frictional resistance increases, the heart burden increases, and left heart failure may occur.

4. Liver: Moderate to severe hypertension during pregnancy may cause bleeding on the surface of the liver, resulting in upper abdominal discomfort. In more severe cases, abscesses may form, and the liver may even rupture and bleed.
