How long will it take for a primipara to give birth if she has shallow pelvic penetration?

At the end of a woman's pregnancy, the fetus will enter the pelvis. If the baby has not entered the pelvis when delivery comes, you cannot choose natural delivery. After the fetal head enters the pelvis, the pregnant woman will feel very relaxed, and even breathing becomes smoother. Many inexperienced pregnant women mistakenly believe that the onset of labor means the birth is imminent. So, how long does it take for a first-time baby to be born after it shallowly enters the pelvis?

The time when each first-time baby can give birth after shallow pelvic entry is different, and there is often a certain difference in early, mid-term and late. Most first-time mothers give birth two or three weeks after the baby enters the pelvis, but there are some pregnant women whose fetus enters the pelvis shallowly and then floats up again after a few days. Therefore, when a pregnant woman finds that the baby has entered the pelvis, she should closely observe the dynamics of the fetus.

Most primiparas begin to enter the pelvis after 36 weeks of pregnancy, while multiparas begin to enter the pelvis later, usually just when they are about to give birth. There are also some pregnant women whose fetus has not yet entered the pelvis when they are about to give birth, but enters the pelvis during delivery.

Therefore, pregnant women cannot judge when to give birth based on the state of the fetus entering the pelvis, which is inaccurate. However, the time of delivery should be judged by uterine contractions. Only when the pregnant woman feels obvious uterine contractions, that is, obvious abdominal pain, can it be regarded as a real sign of delivery. When the uterine contractions become more regular and the abdominal pain becomes more obvious, it is time to announce the birth.

The time when the fetal head enters the pelvis has little to do with the time of delivery of the pregnant woman. The entry of the fetus into the pelvis only indicates that there is no problem with the fetal position of the baby. For some pregnant women, the baby has not yet entered the pelvis even when they are in labor, and some pregnant women even enter the pelvis while in labor.

After the fetal head enters the pelvis, the pregnant woman's daily posture should be more gentle, and she should avoid using excessive force when doing things, otherwise it will easily affect the fetus and may cause unnecessary inconvenience to herself. After the fetal head enters the pelvis, pregnant women should always be prepared for delivery, because some pregnant women will give birth soon after the fetal head enters the pelvis. It is best for pregnant women to be accompanied by relatives every day and should reduce going out to prevent emergencies.
