How is high-risk HPV infected?

Some female friends found that they had high-risk HPV when doing HPV tests on their private parts and vagina. Now some female friends are more worried. If they are infected with high-risk HPV, will they get cervical cancer? How is high-risk HPV contracted? Let's fly to your side and take a brief look.

Human papillomavirus is a species-specific epithelial cell-tropic viral infection with a high degree of specificity. Phv is a non-enveloped DNA virus that causes benign tumors and warts in humans. In clinical medicine, HPV has dozens of clinical diagnoses, and different clinical diagnoses can cause different symptoms. HPV can be divided into high-risk and low-risk types based on the different pathogenicity of HPV subtypes or the size of carcinogenic risk factors.

In addition to causing genital warts, high-risk HPV can more importantly cause genital cancer, cervical cancer and high-profile cervical epithelial neoplasia. Its virus infection subtypes mainly include HPV16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58 and HPV61. Low-risk HPV mainly causes exogenous warts on the skin of the anus and genitals, labia majora and minora, urethra, and vagina, and mild cervical epithelial tumors. Its virus subtypes include HPV6, 11, 30, 39, 42, 43 and HPV44.

High-risk HPV is mainly transmitted to humans through direct or indirect contact with environmental contaminants or sexual behavior. After the virus invades the body, it stays in the skin and mucous membranes at the infected site and does not cause viremia. Within 1 to 2 months after the infection occurs, the blood produces corresponding antigens to the infectious virus. If a blood test is done at this time, the result will be positive, and the positive rate is around 50-90%. 15 high-risk HPV types, especially types 16 and 18, are the main causes of high-degree cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer. The nucleic acid hybridization method detected that the HPV DNA positivity rate in cancer tissues reached 60%.

Female friends should take care of themselves and pay attention to the cleaning of their private parts to avoid gynecological diseases. In daily life, if you find any discomfort in your body, don't ignore it. Be sure to go to a reliable hospital to see a professional doctor to ensure that gynecological diseases are discovered and treated as soon as possible. Nothing is more important than human health.
