Will I still ovulate after I conceive?

Pregnancy is inseparable from sperm and eggs. For women, ovulation is closely related to pregnancy. After the egg cell and sperm combine, an embryo is formed in the woman's body and then grows and develops. Many women are also confused about this matter. For example, will there be ovulation after early pregnancy? After ovulation, how and when should I test to more accurately detect whether I am pregnant?

Will ovulation continue after early pregnancy?

It is not easy to ovulate during pregnancy. When the mature follicle grows to a certain stage, it will obviously protrude from the surface of the uterus and ovary. With the rapid increase of egg fluid and the increase of air pressure, the protruding uterus and ovary tissue will become thinner and thinner, and finally rupture. The secondary coil oocyte, zona pellucida and corona radiata of the cervical vein are discharged from the uterus and ovary along with the egg fluid. This process is called ovulation.

The ovulation time of women is generally about 14 days before the menarche, and there will be no menarche during pregnancy; and during pregnancy, the ovulation period of the ovaries and the development of the new uterus are stopped, so there will be no ovulation period.

Ovulation is closely related to pregnancy. Under normal circumstances, ovulation is a prerequisite for pregnancy, and pregnancy is the direct result of ovulation. Every month, an egg (sometimes more than one) develops and matures in a woman's ovaries. When the egg grows to a certain size, it moves from the uterus and ovaries to the bilateral fallopian tubes and then moves towards the uterus.

Women have two ovaries, located on both sides of the uterus in the pelvis, but there is no regularity in which ovary ovulates each time. And in each physiological cycle, the two uteruses and ovaries do not necessarily take turns to ovulate.

If you want to get pregnant, you have to have sex 2 days before ovulation or within 24 hours after ovulation, because male sperm can survive for up to 3 days, and after the egg is released, if it is not fertilized successfully, the survival time will not exceed 24 hours.

Having sex around the ovulation period will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Couples with normal fertility have a 20% chance of pregnancy in each menstrual cycle. About 85% of women will become pregnant within one year if they have sex without taking any contraceptive measures. They can also improve their chances of pregnancy by understanding the changes in male hormones and body cycles.
