How many weeks of pregnancy does amniotic fluid begin to appear?

Pregnant women are the happiest. They can enjoy life better, make their lives better, and have their own children, which allows them to be relaxed at any time. However, many pregnant women will have various problems during pregnancy, such as too much amniotic fluid or too little amniotic fluid. So at which few weeks of pregnancy does amniotic fluid begin to appear?

In fact, when a woman becomes pregnant, she already begins to produce amniotic fluid. It’s just that the amount required at the beginning is relatively small, and many pregnant women will mistakenly think that there is no amniotic fluid yet. Therefore, you should drink plenty of water during pregnancy and do regular check-ups to ensure that the amniotic fluid is sufficient for the healthy growth of the fetus. In the late pregnancy, the depth of amniotic fluid flow is between 3 and 7 centimeters, which is normal. If it is higher, it proves that there is too much amniotic fluid, and you need to follow the doctor's advice for treatment.

During pregnancy, pregnant women should do regular checkups and pay attention to their diet. They should eat lighter dishes often to ensure a balanced diet so that the fetus can absorb a full range of nutrients. However, they should not eat greasy or high-sugar foods often, otherwise the fetus will be larger and will affect the pregnant woman herself, causing gestational diabetes and various symptoms.

Pregnant women need to do appropriate exercise throughout the pregnancy period, such as walking or jogging after getting up every morning. This method is very good, but try not to do strenuous exercise. At the same time, avoid sexual intercourse in the first three months and the last three months.

How to detect oligohydramnios?

Pregnancy test is the key

Most pregnant women with oligohydramnios generally do not have obvious discomfort, so it is usually discovered by the doctor during prenatal examination or ultrasound examination. Some pregnant women feel abdominal pain when the fetus moves. Reduced placental function often causes decreased fetal movement, a feeling of the uterus tightly wrapping the fetus, and a sensitive uterus. Mild stimulation such as fetal movement can easily cause uterine contraction. Sometimes a fetal movement can cause significant lower abdominal pain. This is because the regulating function of the pregnant woman's amniotic fluid is lost, and the fetal movement energy of the baby directly acts on part of the endometrium to stimulate uterine contractions.

Some pregnant women also have vaginal discharge or intermittent small amounts of watery discharge, often due to placental abruption. During prenatal check-ups, it is often found that the uterine height and fetal abdominal circumference are lower than the relative gestational weeks, which means that the growth and development of the fetus is more significantly restricted. At this time, doctors usually recommend pregnant women to have an ultrasound to estimate the amniotic fluid flow.

These few commonly used B-ultrasound data are most worthy of collection. In the late pregnancy, if the vertical depth of the amniotic fluid shadow (AFV) is ≤2cm, it is oligohydramnios, and ≤2cm is relatively severe oligohydramnios. An amniotic fluid index (AFI) of ≤5cm indicates oligohydramnios, and ≤8cm indicates low amniotic fluid.
