Most polycystic ovary patients have no ovulation, and the uterus and ovaries can only release estrogen after ovulation, so it is necessary to take some dydrogesterone tablets. So, can dydrogesterone tablets treat polycystic ovary?

Dydrogesterone, like all estrogen products, is not suitable for the following conditions: vaginal bleeding of unknown cause; severe liver function test disorders: liver tumors (medical history or past history) Dubin-Johson syndrome, Potor syndrome, jaundice; symptomatic diseases caused or aggravated by pregnancy or use of estrogen, such as severe pruritus, obstructive jaundice, herpes during pregnancy, porphyria and sclerosis; known allergic symptoms to dydrogesterone.

So far, there is no information indicating that it cannot be used during pregnancy. Same as other estrogens. Dydrogesterone is metabolized in breast milk. There is no evidence of interactions between dydrogesterone and other therapeutic drugs. When drogestrel is used in combination with estrogen, if abnormal liver function, venous thrombosis or a sharp increase in blood pressure occurs, the drug should be discontinued.

How to take dydrogesterone tablets for irregular menstruation

Menstrual pain: From the 5th to the 25th day of the menstrual cycle, take 1 tablet of dydrogesterone (calculated as 1b250g of dydrogesterone) orally twice a day.

Endometriosis: From the 5th to the 25th day of the menstrual cycle, take dydrogesterone 2-3 times a day, each time taking 1 tablet of dydrogesterone (calculated as 1b250g of dydrogesterone).

Multifunctional bleeding: Dosage for blood circulation: Take 1 tablet of dydrogesterone (1b250g of dydrogesterone) orally twice a day for 5-7 days.

Dosage for preventing bleeding: From the 11th day to the 25th day of the menstrual cycle, take 1 tablet of dydrogesterone (1b250g of dydrogesterone) orally twice a day.

Amenorrhea: Take estradiol once daily from days 1 to 25 of the menstrual cycle. From the 11th to the 25th day of the menstrual cycle, dydrogesterone is used in combination, twice a day, 1 tablet each time (calculated as 1b250g of dydrogesterone).

Early menstrual syndrome: From the 11th day to the 25th day of the menstrual cycle, take 2 tablets of dydrogesterone (1b250g of dydrogesterone) orally each time.

Irregular menstruation: From the 11th day to the 25th day of the menstrual cycle, take 2 tablets of dydrogesterone (1b250g of dydrogesterone) orally each time.

Threatened abortion: The initial dosage is 4 tablets of dydrogesterone (4b250g as dydrogesterone) taken orally once, followed by 1 tablet of dydrogesterone (1b250g as dydrogesterone) every 8 hours until the symptoms subside.

Habitual abortion: Take 2 tablets of dydrogesterone orally daily, each time (1b250g of dydrogesterone) until the 20th week of pregnancy.

Infertility caused by insufficient endogenous progesterone: From the 14th to the 25th day of the menstrual cycle, take 1 tablet of dydrogesterone (calculated as 1b250g of dydrogesterone) orally every day. The treatment should last for at least 6 consecutive cycles. It is recommended to continue this method of treatment in the first few months of pregnancy. The dosage should refer to the dosage for the treatment of habitual abortion or follow the doctor's advice.
