Is the bleeding due to menstruation or pregnancy?

Different people have different attitudes towards pregnancy. For older women who have not yet given birth, finding out they are pregnant is a very happy thing, but for other women who are pregnant, pregnancy is a very scary thing. They need to know how to distinguish it. So is bleeding menstruation or pregnancy?

1. Does blood in leucorrhea mean pregnancy?

A major representative symptom of pregnancy is amenorrhea. If the menstruation is normal, it means that you are not pregnant. The following are some reasons why there is blood in the leucorrhea. There are many reasons for women's leucorrhea with blood. In addition to normal physiological bleeding, excessive psychological stress, taking emergency contraceptives and other reasons, a large number of reasons may be caused by gynecological diseases. Therefore, female friends must be vigilant. A gynecological disease that causes secretions mixed with blood.

1. Cervical polyps: Cervical polyps are a major manifestation of chronic cervicitis. There is a type of polyp whose root is attached to the cervical opening or cervical canal. It is a partial hyperplasia of the cervical mucosa under inflammatory stimulation, protruding outward from the external opening of the cervix. The surface of the polyp is covered by a layer of columnar epithelial cells, with cervical gland ducts, rich capillaries and loose connective tissue in the interstitial space, and accompanied by inflammatory cell infiltration. This type of polyp can be solitary or multiple. It is generally small in size, less than 1 cm in diameter, tongue-shaped, bright red in color, soft and crisp, with a thin pedicle that is easy to bleed.

2. Vaginitis: Vaginitis bleeding is mainly due to the erosion of the vaginal wall and cervical tissue by pathogens such as Trichomonas or fungi, which manifests as high-aspect edema. The vaginal wall of candidal vaginitis can be seen with scattered blood spots or strawberry-like protrusions, so vaginitis bleeding is more likely to occur, especially when there is external force or stimulation. The vaginal wall of candidal vaginitis is eroded or shallow ulcers, which can also easily cause vaginitis bleeding.

3. Uterine disease: Uterine and cervical fibroids, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer may often cause secretions mixed with blood.

2. Symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Nausea or vomiting. If you're like most women, you don't have to worry about morning sickness until about one month into your pregnancy (a very small number of pregnant women are immune to morning sickness).

2. Vaginal bleeding. Some women also have a small amount of vaginal bleeding after about 11 or 12 days of pregnancy (you may notice a lack of menstrual period near this time range).

3. Menstruation has not come. When your menstrual period has been very regular and suddenly does not come on time, you'd better do a pregnancy test when you have noticed the above signs.

4. Urinate frequently. Early in your pregnancy, you may notice that you need to go to the bathroom more frequently. What's going on? It's mainly because the amount of blood and other fluids in your body increases during pregnancy, which causes extra fluid to flow into your bladder through your kidneys.

5. Resistance to food ingredients. Although some women insist they look forward to certain foods during pregnancy, resistance to foods is also common.

6. More sensitive to smell. This is a very common condition in newly pregnant women, who are more sensitive to sandwiches or coffee or some special smells and even cause nausea. Although no one knows exactly why, it may be a side effect of the rapid rise in estrogen in your body.
