Lemon yellow urine in women

Urine is the feces that is discharged from the body through the urogenital system and urethra. The color of urine can reflect the physical condition of our body. The normal urine color is light yellow liquid. If other colors appear, it should be taken seriously. Is it normal for women's urine to be caramel colored?

Is caramel color urine normal?

Normal fresh urine is light yellow in color because it contains a yellow urine pigment. However, the color of urine can also change depending on how much water you drink, making the urine darker or lighter. If you drink more water and urinate more, the proportion of urochrome in the urine will be smaller, and the color will be lighter; if you drink less water, the proportion of urochrome in the urine will be larger, and the color will appear yellow. The color of women's urine is caramel color. Why not check whether the urine is clear? If so, it is generally normal.

What does different colors of urine mean?

1. No color, completely transparent, warm water-like

First of all, you need to think about whether you drink too much water. If so, there is no need to worry. If not, it may be a sign of diabetes insipidus, diabetes or chronic interstitial nephritis.

2. Dark brown, wine-like or tea brown

If you don't drink less water and you haven't eaten yellow foods such as carrots and oranges in the past few days, you need to consider whether there is a problem with your liver or gallbladder. If the urine is yellowish turbid pyuria, it may be a manifestation of urinary organ suppuration.

3. Dark brown, raw soy sauce

Dark brown urine like light soy sauce is common in acute nephritis, subacute icteric hepatitis, renal crush injury, large area burns, hemolytic anemia, wrong intravenous injection, etc.; in addition, excessive exercise may also cause light soy sauce color in the urine.

4. Bright red

If you haven't eaten vegetables, shepherd's purse, blueberry and other colored foods recently, it may be that your urine is bloody. It is more common in people suffering from urinary and reproductive system diseases (infection, trauma, tumor, etc.), nephritis, bladder stones, urethral stones, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, etc.

Urine is the most intuitive way to check whether the body is healthy, so when you urinate, you might as well observe the color of your urine. If you find any abnormal color, don’t worry, it may be related to your recent diet. After observing for a few days, if there is still any abnormality, you need to go to the hospital for examination.
