The gestational sac is actually different from person to person. The "person" here does not refer to fetuses of different genders, but to the pregnant woman herself, or the development of the baby affected by the pregnant mother's own special circumstances. Using B-ultrasound to accurately measure the gestational sac is mainly used to estimate the gestational age. According to the changes in the data, defects in the baby's development can be discovered in time. However, the gestational sac still varies in size, so is it accurate to determine the gender of the gestational sac at 7 weeks? 1. Determine the sex of the fetus by looking at the gestational sac It is said that if the length of the gestational sac is more than twice its width, it is likely to be a boy. If the length and width are the same, or the difference between them is not that big, it is likely to be a girl. Some mothers looked back at the B-ultrasound data when they were pregnant to verify it. For example, when a mother was 8 weeks pregnant, the gestational sac was 16mm and the peritoneum was 17mm, and she gave birth to a princess. 2. The shape of the gestational sac determines the sex of the fetus Many people believe that the shape of the gestational sac can tell whether the baby is a boy or a girl. Generally speaking, if the gestational sac looks like a green bean or is long and narrow, it is more likely that you are pregnant with a boy; if the gestational sac is oval or ring-shaped, it is likely that you are pregnant with a girl. At what stage of pregnancy can the gestational sac be seen through ultrasound? The gestational sac is the initial shape of pregnancy. It is a small test tube embryo in which the initial embryonic tissue is encapsulated by the amniotic membrane and vascular network. The baby had not yet been born at that time, but the fetal heartbeat had already begun when the embryo bud and fetal heartbeat appeared. The fetal sac is very small at first, and then gradually grows bigger. So how long does it take for the gestational sac to be visible through ultrasound? Under normal circumstances, after 5 weeks of pregnancy, a small gestational sac can be seen on B-ultrasound, which occupies less than 1/4 of the uterine cavity, or the embryonic bud and fetal heartbeat can be seen from it. If it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, the gestational sac can be seen in the uterus through B-ultrasound around 40 days of pregnancy. However, due to individual differences and the early or late pregnancy time, some pregnant women may not be able to see it until around 45 days. Generally, when HCG reaches 1000U/L, vaginal ultrasound should be able to identify the intrauterine gestational sac, which is around the 4th or 5th day of the 5th week of pregnancy. When HCG reaches 6500U/L, abdominal ultrasound can identify the intrauterine gestational sac. Therefore, vaginal ultrasound will be more accurate. If the normal menstrual cycle is reached and the intrauterine gestational sac is not seen on the 49th day of pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy should be suspected. |
