What are the symptoms of chlamydia infection?

The specific symptoms of chlamydia infection include excessive vaginal discharge, pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen, sometimes vulvar itching, menstrual disorders, heavy menstrual flow, menstrual pain and other adverse conditions. Later, it can invade the urethral orifice, cervix and Bartholin's glands, causing urethritis, cervicitis and Bartholin's glands; when the infection progresses, it can cause endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and salpingitis, especially salpingitis.

The symptoms of chlamydia infection vary depending on the location of the infection. If you are infected with urethritis, you will have symptoms such as inability to hold urine, frequent urination, urgency, pain when urinating, and difficulty urinating. If it is vaginitis and cervicitis: symptoms include increased female secretions, vulvar itching, and hematoma in the vagina and cervical mucosa. If pelvic inflammatory disease or salpingitis is caused: there will be lower abdominal pain accompanied by muscle tension, obvious tenderness, chills and fever, and symptoms of pelvic lumps.

Chlamydia infection directly causes inflammation, accompanied by pain, which is unbearable.
