Don't take cervical biopsy lightly

Chronic cervicitis is the main cause of the disease, so doctors recommend that you do not hesitate when doing cervical biopsy. The prevalence of cervical cancer is so high nowadays that if the test result shows negative, then everyone is happy. 2. If you are really infected by accident, you can still get timely treatment.

Under normal circumstances, women will not easily undergo cervical puncture biopsy. Cervical puncture biopsy is a living tissue examination of the cervix that can be used to diagnose cervical lesions.

When women have leucorrhea accompanied by a foul odor, contact bleeding, or uncured cervicitis, after clearing the gynecological inflammation, a cervical cell biopsy is usually required to check for the presence of cervical lesions.

There may be bleeding at the site of the biopsy, and there is a wound in the woman's cervix, so you should not have sex or take a bath within 2 weeks after the examination, and you should not wash your vagina to prevent bacteria from spreading into the uterine cavity and causing uterine inflammation.

When symptoms are not very obvious, cervical puncture biopsy is generally performed less frequently, because obtaining tissue from the cervix will cause some degree of wounding, and although the wound is not large, there is still the possibility of infection. Therefore, doctors generally recommend that patients undergo a cervical CT scan first. However, if the situation is more special and the patient has long-term vaginal bleeding, this test is necessary.

If a patient does not have cervical cancer but still has symptoms such as non-menstrual bleeding or lower abdominal pain, the patient must undergo regular uterine puncture biopsy, with an interval of about half a year. The reason for doing so is that we are worried that once cancer cells are generated and not treated in time, the best chance for treatment may be lost, causing the disease to worsen rapidly.
