Chest pain before menstruation and pregnancy

Chest pain before menstruation and pregnancy

Women feel breast pain during menstruation and early pregnancy. Most of these two kinds of pain are distending pain, and some women also feel stabbing pain. There is a certain difference between chest pain before menstruation and chest pain in early pregnancy. What are the actual differences?

Most of the chest pain before menstruation and in early pregnancy is distending pain, that is, the patient will feel breast pain. Some people will feel severe pain, even touching the chest will cause pain. Some women also experience breast pain before menstruation due to breast hyperplasia or lobular hyperplasia, and pain may also occur at this time. In fact, breast pain during pregnancy is usually just a feeling of distension, and there is rarely any obvious pain.

Generally speaking, premenstrual chest pain occurs a few days before menstruation, and will gradually subside soon after menstruation comes, and the pain will disappear soon after the menstrual period ends. However, chest pain during pregnancy usually occurs after 56 days of pregnancy, so the time of occurrence of the two is somewhat different. Female friends can use this to distinguish whether their chest pain is due to pregnancy or menstruation.

In addition to the swelling and pain in the breasts before menstruation, you may also feel a lump in the breast, which is usually caused by breast hyperplasia. However, there will be no obvious lumps in the breasts during pregnancy. If you observe the appearance of the breasts, you will find that the areola becomes larger and the color becomes darker.

Female friends should pay attention to changes in their bodies and not confuse breast pain in early pregnancy with breast pain before menstruation. If the breast pain before menstruation is severe, you need to go to the hospital for relevant examinations and seek treatment in time after determining the cause. Breast pain that occurs during early pregnancy does not require treatment, just a little care will do.
