Physiological characteristics

If there are no special symptoms except dizziness, then it may be caused by physiological reasons. Clinical experiments have shown that dizziness and headaches during menstruation may be related to changes in estradiol concentrations in blood cells. Due to the physiological characteristics of women, the concentration of estradiol in blood cells decreases before and after menstruation, making the extracerebral blood vessels and uterine blood vessels more sensitive to some factors, resulting in changes in vascular support capacity, and some sensitive people are prone to dizziness.

In addition, estrogen stimulates the secretion of prolactin, thereby directly or indirectly stimulating the secretion of prostaglandins. Under the action of prostaglandins, blood vessels contract and dilate. These changes also show changes in the cycle due to the influence of estrogen, which can also cause menstrual headaches.
