What causes bleeding during pregnancy?

The fertile period is a special period in the female body, which is the ovulation period we are more familiar with. It is easier for women to become pregnant if they have sexual intercourse during this period, so it is also called the safe period. During the fertile period, a woman's body will undergo a change, so some behaviors at this time are also very important. Below, I will tell you the reasons for bleeding during pregnancy.

Causes of bleeding during pregnancy

Before the menarche, the estrogen and progesterone levels in women's bodies are at a high level. When the hormone levels withdraw, the thickened uterine wall is pushed by the estrogen and progesterone and will immediately shed and bleed. This is the menarche. Women also experience increased estrogen levels during ovulation, so some women also experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding during ovulation.

Reasons for not getting pregnant during ovulation

1. It may be caused by cervical disease factors. It is a key cause of infertility, accounting for about 10% to 20% of infertility. Due to chronic cervicitis or low estrogen levels, cervical mucus may become thick or contain a large number of white blood cells, which is not conducive to the activity and passage of sperm and may affect pregnancy. In addition, cervical polyps or cervical fibroids can block the cervical canal and affect male sperm. The narrow cervical opening may also be the cause of infertility.

2. It may be caused by some factors of the female ovary. For example, congenital absence of uterus and ovaries or infantile uterus and ovaries, ovarian aging, polycystic ovaries, and some uterine and ovarian tumors such as granulosa-ovariocytoma and uterine ovarian blastoma can affect the metabolism of growth hormone in the uterus and ovaries and the ovulation period.

3. It may be caused by women’s systemic diseases, or the lack of some important nutrients in the diet can affect ovarian infertility.

Women in their fertile period should pay more attention to their health and some of their own behaviors. Girls should also learn to calculate their own fertile period, just in case. If something unexpected happens to your body during the fertile period, you should go to the hospital for a check-up immediately, because sometimes this is a sign of some disease, and the earlier it is discovered, the easier it is to treat.
