Hungry and no appetite during early pregnancy

Hungry and no appetite during early pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, due to changes in the body's endocrine system, there will be a series of pregnancy reactions. Pregnancy reactions mainly manifest as drowsiness, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, irritability, etc. For the healthy birth of the baby in the body, pregnant women must control their emotions and maintain adequate sleep every day. A happy mood is most suitable for the baby's growth. So what should you do if you are hungry and have no appetite in the early stages of pregnancy?

1. Nausea and vomiting

Many women will experience nausea and vomiting in the early stages of pregnancy, especially after getting up in the morning. The nausea and vomiting will be more intense. Generally, the nausea and vomiting will disappear on its own around 12 weeks after conception. If the nausea and vomiting are severe and have affected the normal nutritional intake of the pregnant woman, you should seek medical attention actively.

2. Suspension of menstruation

Although amenorrhea may be caused by environmental changes, mental stimulation and physical reasons. But if you are pregnant, the first sign is that your menstruation stops. Generally speaking, if your period does not occur more than 2 weeks after sexual intercourse, you should consider getting checked to see if you are pregnant.

3. Increased body temperature

We know that the body's basal body temperature will rise during the ovulation period every month. If you are pregnant, the basal body temperature will remain in the range of 36.7~37.2 degrees Celsius, and this high temperature can last for nearly 2 weeks. After the high temperature, the body will return to a low temperature period, which is the same as the body temperature changes that occur when women ovulate every month.

4. Breast changes

After pregnancy, a woman's breasts will undergo more obvious changes. For example, the color of the nipples and areola will become darker, the breasts will gradually become larger, and a feeling of swelling and pain will occur. And the breasts will become very sensitive at this time.

5. Frequent urination

After pregnancy, the uterus will gradually expand, and the bladder is located in front of the uterus, which is easily compressed by the uterus and causes frequent urination. Generally speaking, frequent urination is most serious in the early stages of pregnancy. This is because in the early stages of pregnancy, the enlarged uterus is right behind the bladder.

6. Increased leucorrhea

In the early stages of pregnancy, women can feel that vaginal secretions are significantly more than usual, which is a normal physiological change. If a pregnant woman experiences increased vaginal discharge and discomfort such as vulvar itching, she should consider the possibility of infection. She should go to the obstetrics and gynecology department for examination and treatment in time.

7. Abdominal discomfort

The uterus is more sensitive in the early stages of pregnancy, and even a little stimulation can cause uterine contractions, leading to slight abdominal pain. But this phenomenon will not last long. If you experience severe abdominal pain, you should seek medical attention immediately.

8. Lethargy and laziness

After pregnancy, due to changes in hormone secretion, body temperature increases slightly and the body's metabolism is accelerated, which can easily cause fatigue, drowsiness and laziness in the early stages of pregnancy. Pregnant women can increase their rest time at this time.
