Meat-like discharge during menstruation

Meat-like discharge during menstruation

Women are prone to many problems during their menstrual period, such as excessive or insufficient menstrual flow, prolonged or shortened menstrual period, and menstrual pain and backache. However, some women find that they have extra flesh during their menstrual period, which makes many women very worried. So what is the reason for the extra flesh during menstruation?

First, what is the thing about the extra meat during menstruation? Most of the extra meat during menstruation is considered to be the uterine wall. When the uterine wall falls off and mixes with the blood, it looks like meat to the human eye. Blood clots are often mixed with the uterine wall, which may be caused by uterine cold, qi deficiency and blood stasis. If there is excessive discharge of something like flesh during menstruation, and is accompanied by symptoms such as vulvar itching, abdominal pain, and abnormal leucorrhea, it may be considered to be caused by gynecological inflammation.

Second, it may be uterine fibroids. Uterine fibroids can be divided into intramural fibroids, subserosal fibroids and cervical fibroids. Among them, because subserosal fibroids grow towards the surface of the uterus, when this type of tumor grows to the point where only one pedicle is connected to the endometrium, it will easily deform, necrotize and fall off due to insufficient blood supply, resulting in the discharge of flesh during menstruation.

Third, the blood clots and rotten flesh-like substances discharged during menstruation are fragments of the uterine wall and compounds of squamous epithelial cells in the vagina. When you stand up suddenly after sitting for a long time, or just wake up, you will be discharged with a flow of menstrual heat, and there may also be a sudden increase in menstrual pain. Normal menstruation is not coagulated. The main reason is that free fatty acids will be broken down into liquid soluble substances under the action of plasmin. If the menstrual volume is too large to keep up, and the menstrual flow is blocked, it will immediately coagulate into blood clots and be discharged.

What is the reason for the extra fleshy substance during menstruation? It may be due to an incomplete abortion. For women who have had an abortion not long ago, if there is fleshy substance during menstruation, it may be the gestational sac left over from an incomplete abortion. Recommendation: Go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as the menstrual period is over to remove the remaining fetal sac and avoid the resulting uterine adhesion, infection and other diseases.
