Overview of Ovarian Tumors

The uterus and ovary are very important reproductive organs for women, and play a great role in reproduction and endocrine. The uterus and ovaries are prone to various diseases, especially tumors, which can cause great harm. Therefore, women are required to pay attention to self-examination and understanding of uterine and ovarian tumors in order to deal with the disease in time. So, what is the brief description of uterine and ovarian tumors, and what are the main manifestations of the actual symptoms?

Uterine and ovarian tumors refer to tumors that occur on the uterus and ovaries. This is one of the most common tumors of the female genitalia. Uterine and ovarian malignant tumors are the most lethal gynecological malignant tumors. Although great progress has been made in both basic research and clinical treatment of uterine and ovarian malignant tumors in recent years, unfortunately, the 5-year survival rate has not increased significantly, hovering around 30%.

A general term for swelling, enlargement, and new microorganisms of the uterus and ovaries that can occur in children to the elderly. Uterine and ovarian tumors have the largest number of types, which are divided into two categories: physiological and physiologic. Physiological types include follicular cysts and corpus luteum cysts. Physiological types are further divided into neomicrobial and non-neomicrobial tumors. Non-neomicroorganisms include endometriosis, polycystic ovary, etc. Neomicroorganisms are divided into benign and malignant, and some are close to the middle between benign and malignant. Traditionally, uterine and ovarian tumors refer to new microorganisms.

What are the actual symptoms?

1. Weight loss with unclear reasons. When weight loss occurs for unclear reasons, it may be that the body has a malignant disease. The occurrence of ovarian cancer can cause compression of surrounding internal organs, resulting in digestive problems, decreased appetite, and the consumption of body energy by the disease, all of which can lead to weight loss.

2. Menstrual disorders. The uterus and ovaries are very important for normal endocrine function. They can secrete many related hormones and maintain normal menstruation. When uterine and ovarian tumors occur, the normal function of the uterus and ovaries will be affected, resulting in menstrual disorders.

3. Abdominal pain. Abdominal pain is one of the common symptoms of ovarian tumors. Some patients with ovarian tumors will experience acute ovarian tumor pedicle distortion, which will cause severe abdominal pain and digestive system symptoms, and even shock. Attention should be paid to some patients. Some patients may experience radiating pain in the feet.

4. Edema of the lower limbs and vulva. When uterine and ovarian tumors occur, the growth of the tumor will cause compression of the surrounding tissues and blood vessels. When the pelvic veins are compressed, it can affect the patient's lymphatic system, causing obstruction of blood flow and edema, with the key locations being the lower limbs and vulva.

When uterine and ovarian tumors occur, the human body will show certain symptoms in various parts of the body. Therefore, women are required to master the relevant knowledge of uterine and ovarian tumors and their symptom manifestations, so that they can detect the existence of the disease in time and treat it as soon as possible. Especially when the ovaries have many functions and endocrine problems and reproductive disorders occur, it is often possible that uterine and ovarian tumors have occurred. I hope everyone will pay attention to this.
