Pregnant baby on the right is a boy

Pregnant baby on the right is a boy

During the monthly prenatal checkup, there is one thing that pregnant women must do, which is to measure the fetal heartbeat. The doctor will let the pregnant woman lie on the bed, measure the weight and uterine height first, and then check the fetal heartbeat and consult the fetal heart rate. Some pregnant women have the fetal heartbeat on the right side, and some pregnant women have the fetal heartbeat on the left side. So, if the fetal heartbeat on the right side is it a boy or a girl? What changes will occur in the fetal heartbeat of the fetus every month?

If the fetal heartbeat is on the right side, is it a boy or a girl?

It cannot be determined for sure. At the beginning, an ultrasound examination is performed around 3 and a half months into the pregnancy to determine the gender. As long as the fetus is healthy, it's fine.

In the early and mid-pregnancy, the baby's heart rate is not regular. It is sometimes fast and sometimes slow, and sometimes it even stops suddenly. It is mostly in the range of 120-160 beats/minute, and sometimes exceeds this range. This is all normal.

1. During the first to fifth months of pregnancy, you can find the fetal heartbeat just below the belly button, on both sides of the belly line.

2. From the 6th to the 8th month of pregnancy, the location of the fetal heartbeat also changes. This is because the babies begin to grow continuously and their little hearts also move upwards. At this time, it is also necessary to distinguish between the baby's fetal movements. The baby's fetal movements are of course the movement of the child's hands and feet. Therefore, when the pregnant mother feels the movement on the left side of the abdomen, the fetal heartbeat can be tracked on the right side of the abdomen. If the baby's fetal movement is felt on the right side, it can be found perfectly on the left side.

In addition, you can find the fetal heartbeat position based on the baby's head and buttocks. If the baby's head is tilted downward, the fetal heartbeat will be below the belly button. If the baby's buttocks are tilted downward, the fetal heartbeat will be above the belly button.

3. During the 9th and 10th months of pregnancy, the fetal position will basically not change. The pregnant mother only needs to remember the position during the doctor's examination and listen again after returning home to figure it out. If you can't hear the fetal heartbeat in the original fixed position, but you can still feel obvious fetal movements, this indicates that the fetal position has changed. If you can't even feel the fetal movements, it is recommended to tell the doctor immediately.
