When is the best time to get pregnant?

Many people know that it is easiest to get pregnant during ovulation, so as a woman who is preparing for pregnancy, you'd better actively calculate when your ovulation period is, so that you can have sex more accurately and make it easier for women to get pregnant successfully. So when is the easiest time for pregnancy? How should it be calculated?

When is it easiest to get pregnant? Women are most likely to get pregnant during their ovulation period. If a couple has regular sex during the ovulation period, the chance of pregnancy is relatively high. If you want to know when you are most likely to get pregnant, you must first understand the time of ovulation. The following are four reference methods to predict ovulation.

1. Schedule calculation method

Generally speaking, a woman's menstrual cycle is 21-35 days (average 28 days), and ovulation occurs 12-16 days before the next menarche (average 14 days). The actual time can be calculated based on the schedule algorithm. The main method is to calculate the fertile and difficult periods in the current cycle based on the records of the past 12 or more menstrual cycles. The formula is calculated as follows:

(1) The number of days in the shortest cycle in the past - 19 = the last day of the infertile period before ovulation. The next day is the first day of the fertile period.

(2) The maximum number of days in the past cycle - 10 = the last day of the fertile ovulation period. This way the actual time of the fertile period can be calculated.

2. Method of measuring body temperature during ovulation

The body temperature method is a relatively accurate way to measure the ovulation period, because generally speaking, a woman's body temperature will suddenly drop on the day of ovulation, and then the body temperature will rise by 0.3-0.5 degrees compared with the ovulation temperature for a few days.

Women who are preparing for pregnancy can buy a digital thermometer, set it below 35 degrees Celsius before going to bed every day, and measure their temperature immediately after waking up every day (after 8 hours of sleep) without doing any exercise. Because any posture may cause the body temperature to rise and cause deviation, it is necessary to measure it without exercising. This should be continued for at least 14 days. It is best to persist in measuring it all the time, and record it and draw a trend chart to grasp the regularity of the rise and fall of body temperature and determine your ovulation period.

3. Ovulation test paper method

The progesterone in women's urine is converted into growth hormone (LH), which will reach a peak value within 24-48 hours before ovulation. The use of ovulation test strips can more accurately detect the highest level of LH. After starting the test, you should perform the test regularly every day. When a color close to the peak value appears, you should test it every 12 hours until the highest LH value is detected.

4. Observation of vaginal secretions

During a menstrual cycle, the characteristics of vaginal secretions change regularly. Normally, vaginal discharge is drier, thicker, and less in quantity. During ovulation, vaginal secretions will become clearer and more transparent, like egg white, with a high degree of metallic brushing. This is because during ovulation, higher concentrations of estrogen are produced, which act on the columnar squamous epithelial cells at the cervical opening, causing them to secrete a large amount of vaginal secretions.

The article explains in detail the time of intercourse that is most likely to lead to pregnancy, and also introduces four methods of calculating ovulation. As a woman who wants to get pregnant as soon as possible, you'd better carefully refer to the calculation method of ovulation period in the article, so that you can have a better preparation period for pregnancy and get pregnant more easily.
