Bleeding during ovulation until your period

Bleeding during ovulation until your period

After girls enter puberty, their uterus and ovaries begin to work, resulting in ovulation and follicular phases, and a normal menstrual cycle. The normal menstrual cycle of women is about 30 days, and the ovulation period is basically fixed in the middle of two menstrual periods. For example, if the menstrual cycle is 28 days, the ovulation period is around the 14th day of the menstrual cycle. What causes ovulation bleeding?

There are probably two reasons for ovulation bleeding.

1. Imbalance in estrogen metabolism causes large fluctuations in female hormones during ovulation and significant bleeding.

2. Inflammation of the uterine wall or the inflammatory thickening of the uterine and ovarian surface causes significant hematoma of the uterine wall during ovulation, and the bleeding is difficult to stop on its own, or the inflamed and thickened ovarian surface ruptures and the bleeding increases compared to normal, and flows back into the uterine cavity with the peristalsis of both fallopian tubes and is discharged from the body through the vagina. Visible vaginal bleeding can last for a few hours, or 3 to 5 days, but rarely more than 7 days. In severe cases, it may not stop until the next menarche. Some women bleed very little, just a little at a time, or there is blood in the vagina, and usually the menstrual volume is rarely reached.

Bleeding may be accompanied by bloating and discomfort in one side of the lower abdomen or dull pain or obvious pain, and may even involve the lumbar sacral region and the inner side of the thigh. Symptoms can occur continuously every month or every other month. Some people experience it several months a year, while others experience it only once in their lifetime. Recurrent ovulation bleeding will affect pregnancy. If this is the case, you must seek treatment under the guidance of a doctor.

Regardless of the frequency of occurrence and the severity of the symptoms, it is necessary to do a good job of hygiene during menstruation and ovulation, follow various health care measures, avoid sitting baths, sexual intercourse, etc., to prevent bacterial infection. At the same time, exercise appropriately to enhance immunity and improve disease resistance.
