Will cervical polyps recur?

Will cervical polyps recur?

Cervical cyst is actually a very common cervical disease and the main manifestation of chronic cervicitis. It is very easy to occur in many married female friends. When cervical cysts occur, it often causes abnormal leucorrhea and vaginal bleeding during sexual intercourse, which is very harmful to women's health. Therefore, surgery is needed to remove the cyst. This surgery is relatively simple, but it is possible that it will recur after the surgery. Although the probability of recurrence is not very high, of course, this also varies from person to person. The following will introduce the causes of cervical cyst recurrence to everyone, so that everyone can make a reference and can also avoid such a situation. You can see:

1. The attack is caused by incomplete excision. The patient's cervical cysts are generally of different sizes, and not necessarily just one. During the cystectomy operation, the cysts visible to the naked eye are usually removed, while some smaller cysts or cysts hidden in the deepest part of the cervical canal that are not visible may not be removed at the same time. Later, these cervical cysts that have not been removed will gradually grow to a size visible to the naked eye, and this is the situation of the attack.

2. The attack is caused by residual pedicle. Some cervical cysts grow in the deepest part of the cervical canal. Even if the pedicle of the cyst is pinched during removal, the actual location of the pedicle cannot be seen by the naked eye. It is very difficult to accurately pinch the root of the pedicle, which will easily lead to cyst removal, but the pedicle is still residual, and then it will continue to grow under the stimulation of inflammation, and eventually form a new cervical cyst.

3. Relapse caused by unhealed inflammation. Cervical cysts are the result of long-term stimulation of chronic cervicitis. Generally, the inflammation must be cured during treatment. If the cyst is simply removed, but the inflammation still exists, it will stimulate the growth of new cysts. Therefore, patients must completely cure cervicitis after cervical cyst removal to avoid recurrence.

Finally, I would like to remind every patient friend that if it is a disease, a certain period of medical care is required after treatment. Otherwise, if the residual bacteria and inflammatory tissue are not completely eliminated, the disease will recur. Cervical cysts are obviously the same. After the treatment is completed, not only should the hygiene of the private parts be maintained, but also the daily hygiene of the sexual life should be guaranteed, and the follow-up work should be done well, otherwise the distress caused by the attack will always exist.
