Overview of Uterine Cysts

In recent years, the incidence of uterine cysts in women has been rising steadily. To be honest, although it is not as scary as uterine tumors or uterine cancer, it is still very distressing for women to have problems with the uterus. In fact, only by better understanding uterine cysts can we avoid the occurrence of such diseases in future daily life. How do diseases such as uterine cysts occur?

Definition

Cervical cyst, also known as "cervical gland retention cyst", also known as "Najalian cyst", "Najalian gland cyst", or commonly known as "Naja cyst", is a type of cervicitis. It usually occurs during the recovery process of cervicitis. The secretions in the cervical gland ducts are blocked by excessive proliferation of new squamous epithelium, forming cystic masses in the cervical glands. They are usually small and scattered, protruding on the surface of the cervix, and light yellow transparent fluid is stored in the glandular duct to form cysts of varying sizes. There may be no clinical symptoms, but as the inflammation develops there may be more vaginal discharge, with or without an odor.

Gynecologists say that uterine cysts are not a disease that occurs overnight. Many factors in daily life can cause this type of disease, especially the factors in these three aspects.

Reason 1: Unclean married life

Not paying attention to daily cleaning during sex is one of the most direct causes of uterine cysts. If both parties do not do cleaning work before sexual intercourse, it is easy for viruses and bacteria to enter the woman's vagina, causing infection of the uterine cavity and finally the formation of uterine cysts.

Reason 2: Gynecological diseases

Gynecologists believe that uterine cysts are not a separate gynecological disease. To be precise, they are a clinical manifestation of chronic cervicitis. The main reason is that during the healing process of cervicitis, new squamous epithelium will be formed, which will then cover the cervical gland branches and produce a kind of connective hyperplasia. After a long time, it will accumulate into uterine cysts.

Reason 3: Poor minimally invasive gynecological surgery

Many women have the experience of being pregnant before marriage. Due to many unavoidable reasons, they will choose irregular hospitals for surgery. During the period, cervical infection may occur, especially when the operating room instruments are not cleaned in time or the doctor is not proficient in Chinese medicine, it is easy to damage the originally healthy cervix, which will lay the foundation for the occurrence of uterine cysts in the future.

Although uterine cysts are not a fatal disease, if the cysts continue to grow, surgical treatment must be considered, so many women want to know how to prevent it.

1. Pay attention to gynecological hygiene at ordinary times. Clean the private parts every day to effectively prevent bacteria from invading the vagina. In addition, the vulva must be cleaned before and after sex. It is best to wear condoms to prevent infectious diseases and prevent artificial abortion after unmarried pregnancy.

2. Women may injure their cervix during normal childbirth, so follow-up visits after childbirth are essential. Once cervical laceration is found, it should be treated immediately, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of cervical diseases.

3. Be sure to have regular gynecological examinations so that even if there is gynecological cervical inflammation, it can be treated in time.

Women who have experienced pregnancy or miscarriage must adhere to the good habit of doing gynecological examinations every six months, so that they can detect changes in the uterus as soon as possible, and timely treatment will save a lot of unnecessary trouble. Yes, women's cervical health requires mutual protection from both husband and wife, so men must also do a good job of cleaning.
