Is there a nipple in the breast?

Is there a nipple in the breast?

Female friends are often confused because they can feel lumps when doing breast self-examination. They even worry that their bodies have developed serious illnesses and become depressed. In fact, not all breast lumps are harmful to health. Many healthy breast lumps have no effect on our body. So, are there breast nuclei in the breast? How to distinguish between ordinary breast nuclei and breast lumps?

Breast nodules are nodules in the breast. Normal breast nodules are shaped like eggs, with a smooth surface and clear boundaries. They can be pushed and moved with force. Generally, breast nodules are not prone to pain and have no significant relationship with the menstrual cycle. Breast nodules are mainly common in young women aged 20-25 years old and are mainly related to the estrogen level in the body.

Breast lumps are a common clinical symptom of breast disease. Generally, before your period starts, breast lumps become more noticeable and easier to touch. Breast lumps detected in clinical medicine are called breast tumors, and most of them are benign lesions, and only a few are breast cancer.

Breast lumps can be caused by:

1. Lumps caused by breast adenosis may appear in both breasts at the same time or successively, and may be of different sizes and have unclear boundaries. They can be treated.

2. The hard lumps caused by breast fibroadenoma are often rotating, with neat edges, smooth surface and mobility when palpated.

3. The lumps caused by breast cysts are lumps caused by the brittleness of breast tissue. Generally, the edges of the lumps are smooth and can be moved.

4. Papilloma in the breast tube will also cause lumps, usually under or on the edge of the nipple. It is a ring-shaped, soft lump, and most of them are accompanied by nipple discharge.

5. Mammary duct ectasia often presents with a lump as the first symptom, which is characterized by uneven edges and an uneven surface, and is mostly located in the deepest part of the nipple.

6. The lumps caused by breast cancer are mostly rotating lumps with irregular edges, hard texture, often adhered to the skin and difficult to remove.

If a female friend finds a breast lump during self-examination, she must not panic. Going to the hospital for treatment is the first choice. Secondly, it is important to understand that the size, texture, smoothness of the edges of the breast lumps, whether they can be promoted, and whether they occur before, after, or at other times are all bases for distinguishing benign or malignant lumps. Therefore, female friends are advised to take care of their bodies while also understanding some basic medical knowledge to avoid unnecessary panic.
