3How long is the effective time of disposable masks?

Generally, disposable masks are effective for four hours.

It is recommended to replace it in time after more than four hours, otherwise bacteria may grow. Ordinary cotton masks need to be washed after wearing for about 2 hours, and soaked in boiling water for 5 to 8 minutes before washing. Activated carbon masks can generally be used for 2 days, N95 masks can be used for a week, and disposable masks can generally be used for about 4 hours.

If you don't wear a cotton mask for a long time after washing, it is better to wash it again before wearing it.

How to choose a mask?

Option 1: When going out normally, you can choose a disposable medical mask, which should be replaced after wearing for 4 hours continuously, and immediately replaced when contaminated or wet;

Option 2: When going to the hospital or to crowded places, you can choose N95 medical protective masks, wear them continuously for 4 hours and replace them immediately if they are contaminated or wet.

Cotton masks and sponge masks are not recommended.

④Finally, press the metal strips on both sides of the bridge of the nose with your hands to make the upper end of the mask close to the bridge of the nose, then stretch the mask downwards so that there are no wrinkles on the mask and it covers the nose and mouth.
