There is a very special organ in the female body, it is the "uterus". It can be said that the womb is the "first house" before everyone is born. When women enter the puberty stage, the uterine wall begins regular metabolism, laying the groundwork for future pregnancy. Each growth and shedding is waiting for the arrival of sperm and egg fusion! When the tiny egg cell finally meets the "favorite" sperm, it will combine into a sperm-egg combination and travel along the fallopian tubes to the uterus to begin embryo implantation and development. Although conception is a natural process, there are too many unexpected and unclear things. Due to various reasons, if the sperm and egg combination fails to successfully implant the embryo in the uterus, it can begin to grow and develop in other tissues of the woman, which is what we call "ectopic pregnancy"! The real name of ectopic pregnancy in clinical medicine is "ectopic pregnancy". Generally, there are several types of ectopic pregnancy: 1. Tubal pregnancy Tubal pregnancy is the most common type of ectopic pregnancy. The fusion of sperm and egg usually begins the embryo implantation and development in the ampulla, and its incidence rate accounts for about 50% to 70% of all ectopic pregnancies. Generally, this kind of situation is related to female fallopian tube diseases, such as congenital bilateral fallopian tube dysplasia, fallopian tube adhesions, salpingitis, etc., which can cause fallopian tube adhesion closure. The sperm and egg cannot enter the uterus through the fallopian tubes normally. At this time, it begins to find its own way and the embryo implants in the fallopian tubes and begins to grow. This is a very dangerous situation. Not only can the fetus not grow and develop fully, but as the fetus grows, abdominal pain, irregular vaginal bleeding and other symptoms may also occur. Once the fallopian tubes on both sides rupture, internal bleeding may occur, threatening the baby's life. 2. Cervical pregnancy If the body's sperm and egg combination works too quickly, or there are problems such as uterine hypoplasia and endometriosis, cervical pregnancy can easily occur. This condition generally does not occur in women who are pregnant for the first time, but is more common in primiparas. The clinical symptoms are that women experience amenorrhea and early pregnancy reactions, but have multiple abnormal reactions such as vaginal bleeding, pink discharge, and even intermittent vaginal bleeding. 3. Pregnancy in the abdomen To put it simply, abdominal pregnancy refers to the implantation and development of the fertilized egg in the abdomen outside the fallopian tubes and uterus. This condition is not uncommon in clinical medicine, with a prevalence of 1:15000, and is divided into primary and secondary types. The so-called primary is that the sperm and egg combine and are directly implanted in the retroperitoneum, mesentery or omentum. This situation is very rare. Generally, primary abdominal pregnancy occurs only when women suffer from endometriosis. Secondary pregnancy is usually caused by miscarriage or rupture of the fallopian tube. The test tube embryo was not discharged from the body normally. It is very active and can adhere to the site of the original embryo implantation through the villi tissue and continue to grow towards the sides. Whether it is a primary or secondary abdominal pregnancy, due to abnormalities in embryo adhesion, the fetus cannot obtain adequate oxygen and nutrients, and is therefore not likely to survive to full term. In the late stages, it may even cause internal bleeding in the pregnant woman, and may even lead to death. 4. Ovarian pregnancy Among this type of ectopic pregnancy, ovarian pregnancy is much rarer, and there are very few cases of it in our country! Its clinical manifestations are particularly similar to those of tubal pregnancy. Patients will experience amenorrhea, abdominal pain and irregular vaginal bleeding in the early stages. If it is not discovered in the early stages, if the pregnant woman is not careful, it may cause ovarian rupture and cause abdominal bleeding, which is a very dangerous condition. Because ovarian pregnancy is very rare, even if it occurs, it is easy to be misdiagnosed as other diseases in some hospitals with insufficient medical resources, thus delaying treatment. In order to prevent ectopic pregnancy from happening, it will cause harm to yourself. Before deciding to get pregnant, you must have a comprehensive gynecological examination to see if there are any problems with your body. If you have bilateral fallopian tube or other diseases, you should wait until you are cured before starting to prepare for pregnancy. When symptoms of early pregnancy appear and menstruation has stopped for more than 5 weeks, an ultrasound examination is also required to rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. |
