How long after giving birth is the same as normal people?

Although many pregnant women feel very relaxed after giving birth, giving birth can also have a great impact on the body of pregnant women. This is mainly because during the delivery process, multiple organs of the pregnant woman's body will be affected, so after delivery, the pregnant woman's body cannot return to normal immediately. So under normal circumstances, how long does it take for a woman to be able to function like a normal person after giving birth?

Can postpartum fecal incontinence heal itself?

Postpartum urinary incontinence is a very common problem. The delivery process causes extreme expansion of the pelvic floor ligaments and muscles, leading to relaxation of the bladder base and about 3/2 of the urethra tissue, ultimately causing urinary incontinence.

Postpartum fecal incontinence is caused by the fact that the tension of the external anal sphincter is significantly weakened due to childbirth, and the rectal sensation of the new mother is also impaired.

First of all, mothers who suffer from urinary and fecal incontinence must completely overcome their psychological pressure. Be sure to go to the hospital's anorectal department for examination as soon as possible to find out the cause of fecal incontinence and receive appropriate treatment to help new mothers relieve pain.

If physical conditions permit, mothers can perform appropriate pelvic floor muscle exercises to increase blood flow to the perineum and alleviate urinary incontinence.

Doctors should strengthen their sense of responsibility, correctly and skillfully master various delivery techniques, and prevent birth canal injuries, which can significantly reduce the incidence of this disease.

1. Do a good job in family planning. Multiple births will inevitably cause relaxation and tearing of the pelvic floor muscles.

2. When the fetus is too large or the perineum is too long, too thick, or has poor elasticity, an episiotomy should be performed promptly.

3. After delivery, carefully check the perineum to detect lacerations in time, align the tissues according to normal anatomical layers, and pay attention to avoid infection and strive for successful repair to avoid chronic complete perineal lacerations.

4. Postpartum physical therapy: Generally, you can start activities on the second day after delivery to improve blood circulation in the small pelvis, improve local muscle tension, and pay attention to avoid heavy physical labor or persistent coughing.

How long does it take to be like a normal person after giving birth?

You can be like a normal person one month after giving birth at the longest. However, confinement does not mean you can't be exposed to the wind and can only stay indoors as people say. In principle, you can do some strenuous exercise after 7 days, but be careful not to catch a cold. Otherwise, you can be like a normal person.

As for lochia, generally speaking, the duration and amount of lochia from cesarean section are very different from those from natural birth. Generally, the lochia from caesarean section will be clear about 20 days after delivery. The lochia has a bloody smell, but it is not smelly. If a woman has recurring lochia 30 days after delivery, accompanied by symptoms such as a foul odor, abdominal pain, and fever, it is possible that she has an infection in the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, or vagina. If the amount of lochia increases day by day, the color gradually turns red and darker, or there are bruises, accompanied by uterine bleeding, and vaginal trauma, it may also be due to infection that causes the lochia to remain unclean for a long time. If the above situation occurs, please go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.
