Is it a boy or a girl if you are fat during early pregnancy?

In the early stages of pregnancy, although many pregnant mothers will supplement a lot of nutrition, their weight will not increase quickly. Only when the fetus is in a period of rapid development will the weight of pregnant mothers begin to increase rapidly. If you gain weight quickly or become fat in the early stages of pregnancy, it has little to do with whether the fetus is a boy or a girl. It only means that excessive energy intake has caused obesity.

Fetal sex identification is referred to as sex identification. Gender identification refers to the use of medical, biological and genetic theories and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology, fluorescent quantitative analysis technology, etc., to separate DNA chromosomes through multiple centrifugation and detect whether there is a Y chromosome in the blood sample to determine the gender of the fetus.

Gender identification is usually done by drawing 12 ml of blood from the pregnant woman before birth and testing and analyzing the fetal DNA chromosomes that are free in the mother's body to identify the gender of the fetus.

Pregnant women can know the sex of the fetus through DNA gender identification as early as 7 weeks of pregnancy, with an accuracy rate of up to 99.4%.

Maternal DNA blood test: Genetic engineering technology can be used to take blood from the mother's vein to determine the sex of the fetus. There is no risk to the fetus or mother, and gender is inferred through chromosomes.

There are three methods that have been medically and scientifically proven to determine the sex of the fetus: color ultrasound alone to determine the sex of the fetus, DNA blood test, and amniocentesis. Although these three methods have been medically proven to be useful for testing the sex of a fetus, color Doppler ultrasound alone has many disadvantages in determining the sex of a fetus.

Many pregnant women identify the sex of their fetus by simply looking at the sex of the fetus through color Doppler ultrasound, and then the gynecologist will tell them the sex of the fetus. There are several problems with this detection method, the first of which is the issue of accuracy. Many factors can affect accuracy, such as the model of the B-ultrasound machine. Older models may prevent gynecologists from seeing clearly and lead to misjudgment. The position of the fetus can also affect the accuracy. For example, if the fetus's sexual organs are pressed, it can also affect the obstetrician's and gynecologist's judgment.
