Can I walk after a cervical biopsy?

You can walk normally 2 days after cervical biopsy, but exercise usually requires 2 weeks. Pay attention to the intensity of exercise and don't rush into strenuous exercise, as it can cause severe abdominal bleeding. Cervical biopsy is to extract living tissue from the uterus for examination to determine gynecological diseases. Women who have undergone cervical biopsy should pay attention to vaginal hygiene and should not have sexual intercourse within one month.

After a cervical biopsy, women can only engage in light activities after 2 days. If they want to exercise, they can usually do it after 2 weeks. But don't rush to do strenuous exercise. Start with slow exercise to see if your body can bear it, and then slowly increase the amount of exercise. In short, it is best to do what you are able to do.

Cervical biopsy is to remove living tissue from the cervix for pathological examination, which is used to diagnose the disease and formulate treatment methods. There are some precautions before performing a cervical biopsy:

1. It is not suitable to examine during menstruation: It is best for women to do cervical biopsy within the third to seventh day after the end of menstruation. Please note that cervical biopsy cannot be performed during menstruation.

2. Do not have sexual intercourse: Do not have sexual intercourse 2 days before cervical biopsy. The main reason is that sexual intercourse will affect the environment inside the vagina. If there is semen remaining in the vagina on the slice, it will affect the test results and the judgment of the condition will be biased.

3. Private parts: Do not flush the vagina before performing a cervical biopsy, as this will wash away a small amount of positive cells and affect the test results. The vulva can be cleaned with clean water the day before the cervical biopsy. Remember not to use vaginal medications before a cervical biopsy.

4. Diet: You should avoid eating certain foods 3 days before the cervical biopsy. Do not eat greasy and indigestible foods, do not drink alcohol or smoke, and also be sure to stop taking some medications that may affect liver and kidney function. You need to fast on the day of the cervical biopsy.

In daily life, we should pay attention to our personal cervical hygiene, change underwear frequently, wash our own underwear separately, and it is best to dry it in the sun after washing. When choosing underwear, choose pure cotton ones, and do not wear too tight ones as they are not conducive to blood flow and will make it easier for bacteria to enter the private parts. Doctors generally recommend that women have a cervical biopsy once a year.
