What is the reason for back pain during menstruation?

I believe that many female friends have experienced this deeply, that is, they experience back pain during their periods, feel listless, and just want to have a good rest. It is common to experience back pain during menstruation. Female friends need to take good care of themselves and have a good diet during menstruation so that the body can adjust to a normal state faster and avoid other factors causing dysmenorrhea or irregular menstruation.

Women often feel discomfort during menstruation, the main symptoms being back pain and dysmenorrhea. Why does it cause back pain? This requires us to know the reasons for menstruation. It refers to a cyclical change in which the endometrium will thicken autonomously, the blood vessels will increase, the glands will grow and begin to secrete, and the endometrium will collapse and fall off, accompanied by bleeding, every month or so. These will cause pelvic congestion in women, which will lead to back pain and sometimes cause women to feel abdominal distension and discomfort.

In the face of discomfort from menstruation, women need to pay attention to maintenance during menstruation, and there are some precautions that they need to know.

1. The diet should be healthy, reasonable and balanced. Even if it cannot truly eliminate the discomfort caused by dysmenorrhea, it is beneficial to improve the body's health level and enhance the body's resistance. Also, don't eat junk food that is too sweet or too salty. Eat more vegetables, fruits, chicken, and try to eat small meals frequently.

2. Do not excessively beat or hit the waist, back and other areas. If you experience back pain during menstruation, you should not hit yourself randomly, as this may cause further congestion in the pelvic cavity and cause excessive menstruation or prolonged menstruation.

3. Supplement minerals and do not take hormones, growth hormones, etc. during menstruation.

4. Try not to drink caffeine. The caffeine contained in coffee, tea, chocolate, etc. can make you nervous, may cause discomfort during menstruation, etc. Therefore, caffeine should be avoided.

5. Don't drink alcohol. Alcohol will aggravate edema problems. If in special circumstances, it should not exceed 2 cups.

6. Not suitable for sexual life. Sexual intercourse can easily introduce bacteria into the body. If they enter the uterine cavity, they will cause intrauterine infection and may cause gynecological diseases.

Women generally experience some discomfort during their periods, some of which are mild and some are severe. If you feel very uncomfortable, you can consult a doctor in the hospital and take some painkillers to relieve the discomfort. Don't take medicine casually. During menstruation, there are also some precautions that need to be taken care of, and women should take good care of themselves.
