Why do I have periods again a week after my period ends?

Women should pay attention to the observation of their menstrual period, because we can observe the cyclical phenomenon of the menstrual period to understand our reproductive health status, so every woman should pay more attention to the health care of this menstrual period. Some women will find that they have bleeding again a week after the menstrual period. Because they don’t know the reason, many women will worry that it is caused by disease. Now let’s analyze what the reason is for bleeding again a week after the menstrual period.

Some women will have a small amount of blood discharge from the vagina one week after a normal menstrual period. The blood is dark red or bright red, has no special odor, and generally has no special feeling. Sometimes there will be abdominal distension. The above situation is called ovulation bleeding.

Causes of ovulation bleeding:

1. After the rupture of the mature follicle and ovulation, the estrogen level drops sharply, which cannot maintain the growth of the uterine wall, causing the surface part of the uterine wall to rupture and fall off, resulting in incisional bleeding. Afterwards, along with the production of progesterone and the metabolism of a certain amount of estrogen, the ruptured uterine wall surface is quickly repaired to stop bleeding.

2. Before ovulation, the mature egg secretes more estrogen, which causes high hematoma of the uterine wall, and some red blood cells are exposed and bleeding.

3. When the eggs are captured from the fimbria of both fallopian tubes, the blood-containing egg fluid is sent to the uterine body through the fallopian tubes against intestinal peristalsis and then discharged from the vagina.

Implementation suggestions:

Ovulation bleeding is a physiological phenomenon. Due to individual differences, only a few people will experience ovulation bleeding. If it only lasts for one or two days, and the amount of bleeding is very small and does not affect your daily life, then it is not a big deal. Ovulation bleeding generally does not require treatment, most cases can be cured, and will not affect physical and mental health and fertility

Generally, women have bleeding problems about ten days after their menstruation. It is basically identified as ovulation bleeding. It will not affect women's reproductive health and is a normal phenomenon. There is no need to panic. If the bleeding has not stopped and the body has more discomfort symptoms, you should go to the hospital for examination.
