Why is it that the nipple of the breast has not grown?

The 15-year-old girl has already started physical growth and development, and many changes in the body have made the girl begin to feel a little uneasy. Among them, the nipple is an important organ of women. When the nipple does not grow out and nipple indentation occurs, we should do this. So what is the reason why the nipples of the breasts do not grow out?

Normal female nipples

Normal nipples of women are relatively white with a hint of red. They are small cone-shaped flesh dots with holes, 1 cm in diameter, about 1.5-2 cm in height, and dark brown. The actual nipples vary from person to person. Single and non-pregnant women have relatively smaller nipples. The nipple of an adult woman does not protrude beyond the nipple skin, but sinks into the skin, which is called nipple embolism. It may be caused by congenital nipple dysplasia or nipple expansion by physiological tissue in the breast. Nipple embolism is easy to accumulate dirt, causing inflammation, affecting the smooth discharge of milk, causing mastitis and breast cysts, so it is necessary to actively correct nipple embolism. Mild nipple embolism can be voluntarily stretched or vacuum suctioned, multiple times a day, and persist for a few months, and the nipple will naturally bulge out. Mild to moderate nipple embolism must be corrected by surgery.

Doctor's advice

There are many people with nipple indentations. A normal nipple is cylindrical, about 1.5-2 cm above the plane of the breast peak. If the nipple is sunken under the nipple and does not extend higher than that, it is a pathological nipple indentation; if the nipple turns inward and cannot be pulled out, it is also called inverted nipple; if it is on the same plane as the breast skin and cannot be erected, it is called a flat nipple, also known as a hidden nipple indentation. The above types of nipple indentations are caused by the incomplete development of the nipple and the smooth muscle of the nipple, which makes the nipple unable to stand out. Breast binding is also one of the causes of nipple indentations. The treatment of this disease is best done by massage and wiping. The method is: wash your hands first, then bathe both breasts, then use your fingers to gently stretch the nipples outward, massage and twist the nipples, and finally wipe the nipples with 75% alcohol gauze or a disinfected sanitary napkin. Do this 2-3 times a day, each time for 20-30 minutes. After massage and rubbing, the nipples will become firm and will not be indented again.

Nipple indentation treatment advice

Generally speaking, nipple fillings are considered because dented nipples can accumulate dirt or oil, which can easily lead to itching, eczema or inflammation.

1. Equipment traction: that is, through a manual or electric breast pump, using the principle of air pressure to suck out the nipple, you can also suck and pull the nipple continuously or intermittently, each time for 30 minutes, alternate between both sides, 3-5 times a day.

2. Technical traction belt: Automatically squeeze out the soft skin of the nipple, pinch the nipple horizontally or vertically with the thumb and ring finger, stretch the nipple outward continuously or discontinuously, each time for about 30 minutes, and alternate between the nipples on both sides. 3-5 times a day. The above two correction methods can produce good results after two months.
