Women have a lump in the right lower abdomen without pain

Modern women are under a lot of pressure as they have to take care of the family and have a job, which leads to gradual health problems for women. For example, if a woman has a lump in the lower right abdomen but no pain, it is important to note that the lump, whether painful or not, is a manifestation of a disease. It is necessary to find out in time whether it is caused by appendicitis, uterine fibroids or other adnexal tumors. You need to do a gynecological examination first to check the specific situation of the lump and then treat it symptomatically.

Under normal circumstances, the right lower abdomen is relatively soft and generally no lumps can be felt. The organs in the right lower abdomen include the appendix, cecum, ascending colon, ureter, and in women, the right side adnexa. The most common reasons for palpating a hard mass in the right lower abdomen are inflammatory masses in the right lower abdomen and tumor masses in the right lower abdominal intestine.

The inflammatory mass is mainly caused by the localized inflammation of acute suppurative appendicitis which is not treated in time. The mass can be felt in the right lower abdomen. It generally has poor mobility and obvious tenderness. Patients often have systemic symptoms such as fever and fatigue, as well as some digestive tract symptoms such as abdominal distension and anorexia.

Tumor masses are mostly tumors in the ileocecal region. The tenderness of the masses is relatively mild. The patient may have symptoms such as positive occult blood in the stool, weight loss, and sometimes intestinal obstruction. If it is a malignant tumor, intestinal tumor markers may be elevated. Sometimes some dry stool accumulates in the right lower abdomen, which can also appear as a hard lump in the right lower abdomen. Abdominal ultrasound and CT examinations can make differential diagnoses of these.

What is the cause of the pain in the right lower abdomen of women?

1 It can be judged based on the urgency of the onset. Those with a slow onset and rapid worsening are mostly caused by internal genital inflammation or malignant tumors. Sudden onset of pain should be considered as ovarian cyst rupture and torsion. If the pain occurs suddenly after repeated dull pain, ectopic pregnancy rupture or miscarriage may be considered.

2 You can judge based on the location of the pain. If it is pain in the middle of the lower abdomen, it may be caused by uterine disease. If it is pain on one side of the lower abdomen, you can consider adnexal diseases such as adnexitis, cyst torsion, and ectopic pregnancy. Pain on the right side of the lower abdomen may also be appendicitis. Bilateral lower abdominal pain is common in pelvic inflammatory disease. If the cyst ruptures, ectopic pregnancy rupture can cause pain in the entire lower abdomen or the entire abdomen.

3 It can also be judged based on the nature of the pain. If it is inflammation or fluid accumulation in the abdomen, it can cause persistent dull pain. The pain caused by cancer is mostly stubborn pain. The pain caused by uterine contraction is mostly paroxysmal colic. If it is an ectopic pregnancy rupture, it can cause tearing pain. If there is a heavy pain in the lower abdomen, it may be due to blood or fluid accumulation in the abdomen.

4 It can also be judged based on the time of pain. If the pain occurs during menstruation, it may be dysmenorrhea or endometriosis. If there is dull pain in the middle of menstruation, it can be considered ovulation pain. If the lower abdominal pain is not related to menstruation, pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic venous congestion, etc. can be considered.

5 You can also judge based on the symptoms associated with the pain. If there is amenorrhea, it is mostly a symptom of pregnancy. If it is accompanied by nausea and vomiting, cyst torsion can be considered. If there is a fever, it may be pelvic inflammation. If there is shock, intra-abdominal bleeding may be considered.

6. If the pain has radiating symptoms, if it radiates to the shoulder, it may be intra-abdominal hemorrhage. If it radiates to the lumbosacral region, it may be a lesion of the cervix or uterus. If it radiates to the thigh and groin, it may be an adnexal disease.
