Calculation table for expected delivery date of frozen embryo transfer

Calculation table for expected delivery date of frozen embryo transfer

Embryo transplantation is also what we call in vitro fertilization in our lives. Modern people are under great pressure in life, and there are many cases of late marriage and late childbirth. Especially those who want to prepare for pregnancy have been anxious because they have not been able to conceive due to various factors. In vitro fertilization is a very good way to help nurture life. It can help many female friends realize their dreams. At the same time, in vitro fertilization has a relatively small impact on the body. So how do we calculate the expected date of delivery of transplanted embryos?

1. Let’s talk about the normal method of calculating the expected date of delivery

The expected date of delivery for a normal pregnancy is 280 days later, which is more than 9 months but less than 10 months, or 40 weeks. Premature birth is less than 37 weeks. 38 weeks is full term.

For example: the last menstrual period was on May 23, 2016, so the due date is March 1, 2017.

2. Calculation method of expected delivery date for fresh and frozen embryos

If you have not had your period: add 17 days before the date of transplantation.

Expected date of delivery: subtract 3 months or add 9 months to the month of the last menstrual period, and add 7 days to the date.

3. Calculation method of artificial insemination

Last menstrual period: 15 days before last sexual intercourse.

Expected date of delivery: subtract 3 months or add 9 months to the month of the last menstrual period, and add 7 days to the date.

4. Calculation method for blastocyst transfer

If you have not had your period: add 18 days before the date of transplantation.

Expected date of delivery: subtract 3 months or add 9 months to the month of the last menstrual period, and add 7 days to the date.

5. Notes

These algorithms are calculated according to formulas and cannot be produced exactly according to this time. Instead, it is necessary to compare the actual number of weeks of the fetus.

Pregnant mothers just need to do a good job of fetal monitoring and deal with any problems in a timely manner.
