What causes anal pain during menstruation?

If the menstrual blood is dark red with blood clots, it is a sign of "blood stasis and qi stagnation" and can be treated with ingredients such as Chuanxiong, Salvia miltiorrhiza, and Safflower. If the menstrual blood is less and lighter in color, it is a sign of "blood deficiency and physical weakness" and you should use angelica, astragalus, rehmannia, longan, ginseng, etc. to nourish the body. If you have a "deficient and cold" constitution with cold hands and feet, you can eat cinnamon twigs, fennel, and mugwort to warm your body.

2. Diet improvement and conditioning: It is advisable to drink high-protein and low-fat drinks, consume more vitamins C and E to promote smooth blood circulation in the pelvis, reduce pain caused by congestion, and supplement with rich calcium and magnesium to relax the muscles.

Foods that should not be eaten: During the 3 days before menstruation, until the end of menstruation, the food should be warm. Eat less grilled, fried, spicy or pickled foods, and avoid watermelon, pear, coconut and grapefruit to avoid affecting blood vessel constriction. Cabbage, bitter gourd and white radish can be eaten after heating.
