Vulvar itching often occurs in female friends before the age of 30, especially after marriage, when they have frequent sexual life. It belongs to the category of gynecological diseases and must be treated in time. It is mainly caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. This bacteria has a strong reproductive ability and can survive in the vulva for a long time.

Various gynecological diseases and external stimuli can cause itching, making people unable to sleep or eat, and unable to sit or lie down. Vulvar itching often occurs on the clitoris and labia minora, and may also affect the labia majora, perineum and perianal area.

Causes

1. Chronic local irritation, irritation from abnormal secretions of vulva, vagina and cervix inflammation;

2. Unclean vulva and tight synthetic underwear, sanitary napkins, etc. lead to poor permeability;

3. Vulvar parasitic diseases, such as pubic lice, pinworms, scabies, etc.;

4. Various vulvar skin diseases and vulvar tumors, etc.;

5. Local vulvar symptoms of systemic diseases, such as diabetes, uremia, vitamin deficiency, etc.

Clinical manifestations

Vulvar itching often occurs on the clitoris and labia minora, and may also affect the labia majora, perineum and perianal area. Most of the attacks are paroxysmal and are usually worse at night. If the itching is severe, skin scratches may be seen.

1. Vulvar application

Use anti-itching lotions and creams, such as calamine lotion, diphenhydramine ointment, cortisol ointment, etc.

2. Local blockade or acupoint injection

Such as cortisol, vitamin B12, phenergan, etc.

3. Treat the cause.
