Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency in women

Vitamin D deficiency is also known as vitamin D deficiency rickets. It is a systemic chronic nutritional deficiency characterized by bone deformity due to the lack of vitamin D in the growing bones, which causes calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders in the body. Calcium cannot be normally deposited during the osteogenesis process, resulting in rickets. This disease is a common disease among infants in countries around the world, and is common in infants under 2 years old.

It is more common in northern China. After the policy of fortifying vitamin D in milk substitutes and baby food was implemented in the 1980s, the incidence rate gradually decreased and the symptoms became milder. However, with the continuous development of modernization and urbanization and geographical reasons, northern my country is still a preventable area.

Vitamin D Inattention Symptoms Vitamin D

Vitamin D, known as the sun vitamin, is a fat-soluble vitamin. Ordinary people can meet their body's needs through the vitamin D produced by sunlight shining on the skin. Vitamin D, phosphorus and calcium are nutrients for the growth and development of muscles, bones and teeth. [2]

Vitamin D Inattention Symptoms Clinical Symptoms

Vitamin D for early symptoms of attention deficit disorder

Common in babies under 6 months old, especially in babies under 3 months old, mainly due to increased neurohumoral regulation

X-shaped and O-shaped legs

There are non-specific manifestations such as irritability, restlessness, night crying, sweating, etc. Physical examination can show occipital baldness. There is no bone degeneration at this stage. X-ray bone films may be normal or have thickened bands that are slightly blurred. Routine blood tests show decreased blood potassium and blood phosphorus, normal or slightly increased blood cell alkaline phosphatase, and decreased blood cell 25-(OH)D3 content.

Vitamin D for Attention Deficit Symptoms

The main symptoms are further aggravated, with hyperthyroidism, calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders and typical

Vitamin D deficiency causes foot deformities

Bone changes, severe hypophosphatemia causes muscle glycolysis disorders, muscle weakness, fatigue, and performance such as delayed exercise function. Physical examination can reveal a soft and square skull. In children around 1 year old, changes such as rib beads, Howe's groove, funnel chest, pigeon chest, bracelet symptoms on the hands and feet, and X-shaped or O-shaped legs can be seen. X-ray films of long bones show that the thickened bands at the ends of the epiphyseal lines have disappeared, becoming bottle-mouth and brush-like, the bone cartilage bands have thickened (>2mm), bone hyperplasia is sparse, the bone cortex has become soft, there may be diaphyseal bending deformity or greenstick fractures, and the fractures may have no clinical manifestations. Changes in blood routine tests showed that the blood potassium and phosphorus concentrations decreased significantly; the blood cell alkaline phosphatase increased significantly, the blood PTH increased, and the blood cell vitamin D component decreased significantly.

Vitamin D Inattention Symptoms Surgery Recovery

After treatment and sunlight exposure, the patient's clinical manifestations and symptoms will gradually ease and disappear. The bone X-ray images will be significantly improved after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment, with irregular thickening lines appearing, followed by high-density thickening of the thickening bands. The relative density of bone hyperplasia will gradually recover, and the blood potassium and phosphorus concentrations will gradually recover. It will take 1 to 2 months for alkaline phosphatase to return to normal levels.

Vitamin D Inattention Symptoms and Complications

There are no clinical manifestations in the early stage. Moderate to severe rickets may leave varying degrees of bone deformities, which are common in children over 2 years old. There are no clinical manifestations, the active space-occupying lesions in the epiphyseal ends of the bones disappear, and the blood routine test is normal.
