Pregnant women can take it, but it is not recommended. Because the Chinese herbal medicine licorice not only has the effect of resolving phlegm, but also has the effect of inducing labor. Can pregnant women eat Bauhinia bark?

Bauhinia bark is described in "Bencao Gangmu" as the dried root of the legume plant Bauhinia. Bauhinia (Bencao Gangmu), also known as: Man Tiao Hong (Qunfangpu), black mulberry, bamboo basket tree, Longchuan pan, flat-headed old man, is a deciduous tree or large shrub. Bauhinia bark and Poria cocos effects: bitter; flat. Enters the liver meridian and spleen meridian. It has the effects of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and removing toxins. It is used for female menstrual disorders, abdominal pain caused by blood stasis, rheumatic pain, painful urination, throat numbness, carbuncle, scabies, bruises, and snake and insect bites.
