How is mammography performed?

Breasts are where women produce milk for their children and also reflect women's beauty. If there is a problem with women's breasts, it will affect women's physical and mental health. If not treated in time, it may cause women's death. However, if treated in time, the patient still has a great chance of recovery. Before treatment, women should do all kinds of examinations to confirm the actual breast disease. So what kind of examination can confirm breast disease? How is breast molybdenum target examined?

How is mammography performed?

Mammography is a common examination method in breast surgery. When doing mammography, a mammography machine is needed. It is a machine that uses X-rays and molybdenum target fiber optic sensors to visualize the breast ducts. During the examination, the patient places both breasts in the molybdenum target film clamps in turn, and through X-ray exposure, the imaging data of the breasts after being irradiated by the molybdenum target fiber optic sensor are collected and photographs are taken to diagnose breast diseases. During the examination, the patient needs to take off his or her top and coat to expose his or her breasts. The examination time is less than 5 minutes.

Mammography is a method of radiating breast tissue with small doses of X-rays, which can provide a clear view of breast tissue and is of great help in the detection of breast cancer. It can detect tiny calcifications in the breast with high accuracy, which is of great significance for early breast cancer screening. Moreover, this test has the advantages of simple operation, no damage, low cost, and can be used repeatedly, and can be used as a screening project for breast cancer lesions. When the patient has clinical symptoms, such as painless lumps found inside the breast, changes in the breast skin, dents or orange peel-like changes, nipple discharge and other symptoms, breast mammography combined with pathophysiological examinations can improve the accuracy of the examination. In addition, for some key targets of breast cancer, such as women with a family history of breast cancer, irregular daily routines, exposure to radioactive elements, and frequent use of emergency contraception, breast mammography can be used to avoid misdiagnosis of breast cancer in early stages before breast lumps or metastases develop.

The most important examination method for breast disease examination is mammography. Through mammography examination, doctors can understand the detailed condition of women's breasts, including whether there are lumps in women's breasts, the size of the lumps, etc., and in the examination results, the birads grade classification will be used to determine whether women's breasts have changes. If the woman's birads grade after the examination is 1, it means that the breast is healthy and there is no change. If it is 2, there will be good changes, and women should be treated or followed up under the arrangement of the doctor.

If a woman's breast mammography result is level 4a, it means that the woman has breast cancer, but it is only a mild abnormality. If you want to diagnose it, you need to go through a puncture biopsy to get a final conclusion. A puncture biopsy is what we call a pathological examination. It is done by taking a lump from the inside of a woman's breast and cutting it into slices. After freezing, it is examined under a microscope. Generally, pathological examination can grasp the differentiation status of the patient's breast tumor cells, and it can also determine whether the woman's breast lump is malignant. If it is malignant, it is breast cancer.

Regardless of whether the final examination results are breast cancer or not, women do not need to worry or be anxious. If it is breast cancer, women should adjust their mentality in time, face breast cancer with a positive and healthy attitude, and cooperate closely with the doctor's treatment, which will have a positive effect on the patient's recovery. If it is not breast cancer, but just a mild symptom, the patient should not think too much and go to a reliable hospital for treatment in time to prevent the mild symptom from becoming malignant.
