Pelvic Endometriosis Stage 1

Pelvic Endometriosis Stage 1

When a woman goes to the hospital for a physical examination, if she asks the doctor to do a color ultrasound, she may be diagnosed with pelvic endometriosis. Most people do not understand pelvic endometriosis because they do not feel any discomfort. But in fact, when endometriosis becomes more and more serious, it will affect the woman's uterus and endometriosis may occur. So is stage one pelvic endometriosis serious?

When endometrial tissue appears outside the uterine cavity, it is called endometriosis (abbreviated as endometriosis). It undergoes periodic bleeding under the influence of changes in ovarian hormones, accompanied by proliferation of surrounding fibrous tissue and adhesion formation. The vast majority of endometriosis is located on the peritoneal surface of the reproductive organs and adjacent organs in the pelvic cavity, which is often clinically referred to as pelvic endometriosis; when the endometrium appears in the myometrium, it is called adenomyosis, which was previously called intrinsic endometriosis.

Western medicine treatment for stage I pelvic endometriosis:

Western medicine believes that the occurrence, development and regression of endometriosis are under endocrine control, therefore, hormone therapy is effective. The goals of treatment are to cure the disease, prevent recurrence, and promote fertility. The effect of drug treatment is best for mild and moderate endometriosis, which can relieve symptoms and increase pregnancy rate; severe patients have larger lesions, more fibrosis, and tight adhesions. Surgical treatment is still required.

TCM treatment of stage I pelvic endometriosis:

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the onset of pelvic endometriosis is closely related to the menstrual cycle, and the treatment of dysmenorrhea is based on the menstrual period and different physical constitutions. Generally, before menstruation, the main focus is on regulating Qi and removing blood stasis; during menstruation, the main focus is on promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, regulating Qi and relieving pain; after menstruation, the main focus is on invigorating Qi and tonifying the kidney, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. If accompanied by menorrhagia, it is necessary to remove blood stasis and stop bleeding during the menstrual period. Many symptoms of endometriosis directly manifest themselves as the onset of the disease, the pathogenesis of which is "blood stasis", which can be divided into cold, hot, deficiency and excess. Clinical treatment should be based on the basic pathogenesis and differentiate between deficiency and excess, especially the main clinical symptoms, combined with appropriate differentiation of disease and syndrome differentiation, or tonify the kidney, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis to regulate menstruation, or tonify the kidney and promote blood circulation to promote ovulation and aid pregnancy, or promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis to disperse nodules.
